ronnierunco - no tengo "hangovers", pero mi esposo es, mas o menos, borracho. (on occasion).
shelley - if the hangover is that BAD, just drink the broth. it does work.
Karmen - i'd be arrested for contributing to the deliquency of minors(!!!) if i'd made THAT menudo.
Rugers - boil the tripe with a whole onion - it does help somewhat, but, i agree, tripe smells HORRIBLE while cooking, it's only after the chile powder is added that it starts to smell like soup. plus, adding the pata helps too.
