Seems to me I remember a big sting in NY.a few years back and they did lose there trucks and the loads of horses packed like sardines in them. They also got slapped with some heavy duty fines.Things sure did change at the NY. auction houses for a while.A Lot of the slaughter guys went out of business for a time. the auctionair actually told the truth about what kind of horse you were buying (the temperment and health )for awhile.I guess they just moved south.

I'm Baaaaack! What is to much to ask for, is people telling others WTF to do with their animals and their own back yard! You guys don't get it! Animals are brought to slaughter every day. Do you want them killed humanely or not? YOU f-ckin' people are the one who have made the inhumane slaughter across borders happen. Now your upset, well waller in it! I am tired of babysitting you... first you want this then you want that... when your ready to put up or shut up I will listen. And if you don't live here, in the USA, then take a f_uckin' hike! I don't usually get so radical, but I am sick and tired of people thinking their view is the only view! Take care of yours own, and mind your own business! YOU HAVE MADE IT WORSE FOR HORSES!!! So don't tell me you care. I personally love the animal and see its demise in the country coming because of people like you! I AM DONE HERE! IDIOTS!

I remeber some truckers getting in trouble,,but they are small...most trucking companys in the US have  to follow some regulations,,but the regulations are of a very low standard,,I dont know if you've ever been to the borders to truck anything,,but its a  check of papers, weight, stickers,,,ect, they look at "cargo" once in a great while,,someone with go into your trailer to check it out,,most dont go threw a live stock load... as long as it looks ok,,your off.  To really fix the issue,,we need to bring slaughter house back to the US, where they can be regulated,,,either that, or contact US DOT & find out whom to contact to change trucking regulation for livestock,,,

the different opinions on this subject is totally amazing. I didn't post about the inhumane treatment of pigs and cows because that isn't what was in my e-mail, but you can believe I feel just as strongly about that.

I just thought that if even  FEW MORE protested the inhumane treatment OF ALL ANIMALS, it is a help. You watch animal planet and the inhumane way people treat ALL animals is disgusting. People need to insist on tougher penalties for anyone that abuses their animals.

What I meant by I am only one, and look at Obama is, WHO would have thought that he could win the election. HE DID IT ONE VOTE AT A TIME!

I ain't saying there should be no slaughter houses, just do it humanely.   I don't think that is to much to ask for> And just because someone brought up an animal to have no respect for people,(the mean horses we have encoutered), is no reason to not care how it's death comes about.

I worked with one of the meanest horses I have ever met in my life. A retired race horse named, "Brach's Sweet-talk," she was owned by and mistreated by  "Brachs", once her racing days were over, they didn't give a crap about her. She wouldbite you in the face and stomp you into the ground if given half a chance. After about a year of working with her and her foal, shethan became a SWEET HORSE, a little compassion from a humane went a long way.

Listen, if you don't want to complain about inhumane slaught and treatment, thats on you, If You Do, I THANK YOU, and MANY Horses THANK YOU!
