Becky - I would get her blood tested to see what is happening with her hormones.  Males are normally only interested in the Bitch for a relatively small period of time, and the bitch would normall "flag" at that particular time.

The natuaral mineral is selenium....founded in,Organic grains, brewer's yeast, wheat bran,broccoli,tuna,vit/min mix.

Nutritional function: Antioxidant,fertlity-female, spermproduction,tissue elasticity

Works with: vitamin E

Deficiency signs: Premature aging, male sexual dysfunction, heart, cancer, liver, and muscle diseases.

Not sure if this will help bring heat on sooner, but is certainly worth a try combined with vit E and C.

Hope this helps.Just an alternative.

I ask this question to a Board Certified Reproduction Specalist and he laughed at me. He said it producs a artifical heat cycle and does not work or benefit a female's cycle.  The reason I asked was a man gave a injection and sent a female for breeding and did not tell me prior to sending her. She indeed was swollen and looked like a female in a true heat and Zidane breed her but she was very aggressive and usually a female in a true heat would have been more compliant. Upon discovery the owner of the female was given Dr David Fullers number and he told him the same thing. He said not to worry his vet said it would work as we did get a tie...it did not work the female came up emtpy and of course the male was blamed. I did not ask Dr. Fuller about the side effects of such drugs given to bring a female in to heat but it is not something I would persue with any of mine.
