We are holding our very first trial/seminar event May 8-10, with SV-foreign Vic Wilms presiding!
Our poor little club needs all the entries and support we can get to pull this off and still keep food on our tables afterwards. Vic is a highly regarded judge, super with novices, and really puts on a great seminar. We will offer all titles except the DPO.
A delicious BBQ and home-made lunch will be offered. Please mark it on your calendar and plan to come on out. The little country motel 2 miles from us takes dogs, only $40-60. night, clean, wireless internet, but not fancy.

Once our trial request paperwork is submitted/spproved (tomorrow), the event will be listed on the www.gsdca-wda.org website.

As a newbie, I can tell you that if I were interested in attending it would be more likely if the information were spelled out to a greater degree.  The acronyms bewilder me.  What is a SV-foreign  and what is DPO?  (I figured out BBQ, LOL!)

Luvdemdogs, Shelley's club is in Pennsylvania (notice I spelled it out? :-) ). We ALL had to learn the abbreviations, too. SV is the German parent club. We RARELY spell the name out, because it is a long German thing. We don't spell out DPO (the police dog test) or Fh (Master Tracking title) because they are long German words most of us cannot possibly spell. LOL Go to the USA (United Schutzhund Clubs of America) site at www.germanshepherddog.com for a list of the common abbreviations used in the world of German Shepherds and schutzhund.

Or go to Shelley's website Bosen Kinder Hundesport to see pictures of previous events & there's a whole page of abbreviations & meanings.................LOL, any room for a 1 legged freaking gimp to spectate?  Maybe by then I could drag a dog or 3 along if some one else could handle him/them for me? I'll bring dessert...................jh

What's on grills ? Would this be the first ever trial and seminar @ bosen kinder ? It says on the website all breeds, does this mean I could show up with a Mal ... first time ever at a trial and seminar ? What all do I need to enter my Mal ... if allowed ? Also, are we allowed to show up in a group ?

We are an all-breed club and out judge is a popular guy with many FCI breed clubs, NOT just GSD's. ALL breeds welcome and loved here. :-)   We are in Lehighton, PA 18235.

The BBQ chicken and ribs, home-made saleds and isdes are going to be excellent because Kalibeck is doing most of the cooking while I handle Beckett.
ROTFLMAO.

I love you Jackie, Honey. Sweetie. Darling. :-)))))

Uh oh. I haven't updated the club site in months. Need to add these events and update membership page with more members and their pics. . Tedious work, time-consuming, so not today. Typical Monday... :-(

I'd love to see you and Fury. I have another female here right now that screams a lot louder than she ever did!
