Two Moons

Around here you take everything with a little salt, spill it then throw it over your left shoulder.
Then RUN LIKE HELL !!

by grgtwnbaxley on 26 March 2009 - 22:03

You guys are freak in morons! You can tell all this from a picture. The dog is an awesome specimen and if it is AKC I would be proud of it. Can not tell by a picture if it has working lines or not but nonetheless it is one awesome dog. Mystere I need to hire you to do all of my buying as all you have to do is look at a picture and know exactly what it is. You are a joke!

by hodie on 26 March 2009 - 22:03

grgtwnbaxley,

You DO need to hire someone to teach you about structure, color and what are and are not GSD working lines. The pup is a specimen of the Shiloh Shepherd, a Shilohs being a fabrication at that. It is not an AKC recognized breed. If you like it, and you would like to own it, I could care less. If it has a nice temperament and someone would like to buy it and train it and have it for a companion, okay by all of us.

But it is not the same thing as a good specimen of the German Shepherd from working lines. Period. By the way, many of us CAN TELL if a dog has working bloodlines in it or not. Obviously, you cannot and that too is okay. Being disrespectful to people who have learned enough to know the difference is not appropriate.

Hodie,

Thank you, but it is pointless with that person.  This from her website  ( www.3ckennels.com):

This is your super opportunity to own TOP QUALITY German Shepherds at a fraction of a normal price. Click on these other links and see what other Champion Lines we have at our kennel.

Obviously, she is just a quack BYB, so, of course, she cannot tell whether a dog is working line or show lines from a photo, and can't fathom how anyone else can--she probably does not really have a clue what the terms mean.   Also obviously, she can't tell a gsd from a shiloh, despite claiming 30 years as a breeder!!   She needs to stick to the newspaper and Puppyland to sell her wares.

Yup - you are right Mystere, it is pointless. The site explains it all.

But Mystere ............... her dogs have names like  KIRSCHENTAL  and    WIENERAU .......... LOL   OMG that web site is a riot.   I needed a good laugh today.

Read the guarantee. No guarantee if the hips are OFAed before 18 months. No guarantee if one had the Penn Hip done (not that I use it, but the reason stated is stupid). Unique coloring on a dog,......meaning white and black...poor pigment in fact, white GSDs, none of the dogs with any working lines as far as I looked, but yes, she names them and suggests by links that she breeds to top VA studs. Maybe she is a friend of that social worker in, is it Michigan, who also uses other kennel names to sell her dogs. But she doesn't sell on limited registration, so anyone can continue the "tradition".....LOL

Sunsilver, I didn't think you would try a stunt like that.  I think enough here know your leanings maybe leave the Shilo's alone here now.
