If I am looking for a dog for schutzhund---OK so what about the breeder whose nearest schutzhund club is 400 miles away but she titles in AKC, tracking and other venues...and having  to ship dog out for months of time to get titled in sch is not an option?  The breeder has certicief hips, elbows, eyes, von willebrands, etc and has placed other dogs in schutzhund,  does that mean I shouldn' t look at them?
Excellent comprehensive list.  Yes I know if one is looking for a schutzhund dog, they need to look at the titled parents, however, IMO, it is only part of the equation.  I'd take a stable, clear-headed, high prey drive pup, healthy pup without SchH titled parents versus unknown pup from schH titled parents that were so-so.

Why settle for either one? You take a bit longer, maybe save a bit more money, drive a bit farther- you can have it all.

If it hasn't already been said... I would not buy from any person who said "Here's a litter, pick out whichever one you want as long as you give me the money" with no screening, questioning, or attempt to make sure it is a good match.  I've walked away from such sellers.

Hopefully, it won't be deleted.

Quick, before it is deleted, tell us where else it is posted.

And maybe another point should be added:

Send PMs to a certain list of folks here if you want any information, because nothing can be posted on the forum.

Jayne,

I have printed the entire thing off.  and will also copy it to flashdrive, NOW.   Everyone will be advised of where it is posted...in probably what will be a very short-lived thread.  :D

If you see a statement such as this  " We breed most of our females only once a year, for the benefit of the mothers health and better pups quality" RUN!!
