Oh, so are you saying this isn't true UGLYdog ?

www.ibew.org/articles/08ElectricalWorker/0804EW_Web.pdf

Also, Ugly, you are so willing to believe anyone but your Government officials.  If you feel such hatred toward the U.S., why do you live here?

by jaggirl47 on 22 July 2009 - 03:07

Hey Ugly, all you have to do is ask any TRUE veteran that didn't sit in a CSH or behind everyone else to tell you from honest experience what he says is bullshit.  Anyone that is a "combat nurse" as he claims (which is an LPN, not a combat nurse. He has the same job I have now) who has truly "seen" what he says he saw, would not post it on his myspace page.  Only those with mental illnesses or those that are full of BS put that out there.  Ask any true vet.  And, it is easily disapproved.  Several of the prsonnel that were in Iraq with him work with me now.  I'm not saying you won't see heavy stuff at a CSH, but it's different from when you are on the outside.  The Government is also starting to prosecute former soldiers for falsifying awards.

21st CSH was also not one of the 1st units to occupy Iraq.  They moved up in April.  Many, many other units moved up prior to them.  You also do not earn a CMB for providing medical care during combat conditions, otherwise 70% of the medical corp would have one.  There is only one way to earn it and you can read my post higher up.

He also did not have a college degree or he would have joined the Army as an E-4, he wouldn't have been an E-3 after 3 years of service.  I'm happy that you have however many degrees you have.  Don't really care, you are still an idiot and very uneducated.  As is Torin.  As far as his "confirmed kills", it is laughable and I will definately have to show JAG this week.

So, you're "gonna have my ass"? LMAO  Have fun coming through my computer.

The average age of the military man is 19 years. He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy. Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer, but old enough to die for his country. He never really cared much for work and he would rather wax his own car than wash his father's, but he has never collected unemployment either.

He's a recent High School graduate; he was probably an average student, pursued some form of sport activities, drives a ten year old jalopy, and has a steady girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away. He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz or swing and a 155mm howitzer..

He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk. He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him, but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must.

He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional.

He can march until he is told to stop, or stop until he is told to march.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity. He is self-sufficient.

He has two sets of fatigues: he washes one and wears the other. He keeps his canteens full and his feet dry.

He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle. He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own hurts..

If you're thirsty, he'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food. He'll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.

He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands.

He can save your life - or take it, because that is his job.

He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.

He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.

He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed..

He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to 'square-away' those around him who haven't bothered to stand, remove their hat, or even stop talking.

In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.

Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great- grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom. Beardless or not, he is not a boy. He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.

He has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding. Remember him, always, for he has earned our respect and admiration with his blood.

And now we even have women over there in danger, doing their part in this tradition of going to War when our nation calls us to do so.

This is just a few of the reasons I support our troops!

so please tell me people why you blindy believe your govt. officials instead of thinking and investigating for yourself! I honor and support our soldiers! What will you support when those same soldiers are forceably coming to your home and confiscating your firearms and innoculating you when you resist carting you aff to a detention camp! Simply obeying orders or a law sending you to war when that war was engineered by your leaders for oil and profit is illegal! Jag girl you did not defend anyones freedom when you were in Iraq! You helped line the pockets of Busch and his oil cronies! You provided further security for the saudi oil shieks and their oppresive govt. But yet you shout (oh say can you see) You and those who went there including MY OLDEST SON did nothing but further enslave america to foriegn oil! So all your patriotic bull shit is just that! I know exactly why america went into Iraq and afganistan! IT WAS NOT TO PROTECT US FROM TERRORISTS IT WAS TO FURTHER ENSLAVE US TO THEM AND THE OIL THEY POSSESS!I repeat that I support my fighting troops and pray that they become human and not the robots they are trained to be! Listen up maggots 1 Viet nam was a war of treaty obligations! Korea a war to curtail communism. Those in afgan.an iraq are wars of profitt and power! Wake up people and smell the coffee

the only thing that belongs on this thread is

I Salute you, and Thank you!

doggie I do not mean anything but to uphold the honor and respect we all owe to our fighting men and women! that man did not die to protect my freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iraq or afganistan had nothing to do with the attack on the wtc! So this man dieing in a country that did not participate in 911 is protecting my freedom! Bull shit! as a dead soldier he deserves my and gets my respect and honor! As a dead soldier who gave his life for a lie told by his govt I am furious and angry that he died for deciet and lies!  How many thousands have died in afgan.and iraq and our govt still has not brought osama to justice/ Bullshit When a soldier dies in DEFENSE OF THEIR COUNTRY IT IS HONORABLE ! WHEN THEY DIE FOR A LIE IT IS TRAGIC1 WHEN THEY DIE FOR OIL AND OIL MENS PROFITT IT IS CRIMINAL! AND WHEN THOSE WHO SUPPORT THE NEEDLESS DEATH OF MY SOLDIERS IN PURSIT OF SECURING THE WEALTH OF OIL MEN AND REPRESSIVE REGIMES AS SAUDI ARABIA THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD BE DROPPED OFF THERE AND LET THEM FIGHT IT!

by jaggirl47 on 22 July 2009 - 15:07

Thank you 1doggie2. You are right. And I also thank Jessie James for placing this thread because these soldiers do need to be honored. Whether you agree or not with what is going on over in Iraq and Afganistan isn't the point. It's about the men and women who have gotten injured and who have lost their lives.
Debi, thank you for that post. I do have to disagree with someof it. It's not the difficulty spelling for writing letters, it is the lack of time.  Also, more and more enlisted members are earning their degrees, just like their officer counterparts. In order to move up in the enlisted ranks anymore, you pretty much have to have AT LEAST a bachelor's degree.

Jag,

It was a list of averages not a knock on enlisted men and literacy.  I agree the average enlisted man is more educated than in the past.  But some of the spelling, is bad.  I blame the schools for letting it get that way.  But in the trenches, who cares if he can spell enemy as long as he can spot one either during battle or when at home if you get my drift!

DebiSue -- there are also numerous people on this Forum who cannot spell -- and I'm not talking about typographical errors.

Ugly -- give it a rest.   Jag is a Credit to the Uniform/our Country.   You, on the other hand, are a disgrace as a human being.

We need to support our troops everyday.  I would like to thank all of those who serve our country and protect our freedom.  It is a huge sacrifice that the men and woman of our armed forces make.  Also the family members that support our troops need to be commended as well, it is not easy for them either.

As far as ugly dog is concerned he will hijack a nice thread for his own disturbed agenda.   For those that are relatively new here and don't have a lot of experience with uglydog, I'd recommend to just ignore him.  He has some very serious issues and comes here to pollute the PDB with his twisted views and garbage he finds on the Internet.  He has a small group of equally disturbed followers that will often agree with him to incite arguments.  He is so ridiculous that he can't be taken seriously.  My advice would be to hit the "Report Abusive" button every times he spews his distasteful psychotic ideology.

You can not have a rational or civil conversation with him if you don't totally agree with his views.  He will quickly turn a thread into a vile vicious personal assault aimed at anyone who disagrees with him.  I just simply try to ignore him and any thread he participates in.

FWIW,

Jim
