I too have PTS a long time GSD friend.  NOT EASY!.  We all know what it'slike.  But you do what you must for the benefit of your FRIEND.  If your mother, sister, brother, father was suffering would you not want to  ease their pain?  Especially if you knew the inevitable?  If it was my special animal ( my special dog) I would do right by them and not let him/her suffer!  You do what needs to be done even if your feelings get hurt.  Just let me say, too that if any of  my family members asked me to help them in that sort of way, and they had evrery proof that they couldn't  be helped then all I have to say is I would be there for my family as hard as it may be. 

When the time comes...who knows?  but what I  stated previously is what I believe right this minute.

    Oh, I sort of remember a thread a year or two ago...where a woman's dogs were poisened by Mercury. She received the same treatment.

Do you have proof from your(and I use the term loosely) vet?  Do you still have the "shot", you know the one thats a federally controlled drug? I am sympathetic to you losing your dog, but you back pedal so much that anything you say adds up to utter BS. All i can say about this thread is that there are some very sick people posting on this forum, and one or two need help that is if it is not too late . I really wonder how some live there normal daily lives, I have seen a lot of nasty things visually during my life time but never heard the like as some of this put verbally on a website
Some of you folk talk about moderators not being needed we do need them on here badly to stop this rubbish we are all reading, and i for one would love to be a moderator, for a start i would ban some on here for a couple of months, if when they came back they post this sort of rubbish again the second time, then  they would be banned for good no third chance, and i may even ban myself if the occasion arises
But some people go over the top with there postings and are not good for any dog site, in my opinion

Where is the proof that your Dog was poisoned, I hope you had that necropsy done so let us here the results of it, because anyone who thought anything of there dog would want to know for sure what killed it,
Plus you bought it home to die and suffer that much longer than it needed to

Oh my!  I turned off the "reality" shows to read this.  I am new and had no idea the level of entertainment that could be obtained without having to actually risk physically meeting up with interestin' folks.
