If George Bush died tonight, I'm sure you'd change your name GTR and spew forth many accolades about him, wouldn't you?
I'm curious as to why you are not crying OT"S on this thread?

by George the Retard on 26 August 2009 - 22:08

excuse me when reagen died i said nothing. when george dies i will say nothing.

my parents taught me to have respect  for the families of the deceased.

because an occasional OT thread is ok it breaks things up but nonstop copy and pastes are getting old. keepthefaith does not start OT after OT about the same damn thing. if she/he continues then yes i might say something.

have a great day

Thank you to Mickey D, Bob and the others who, I have much respect for,.  While you may not agree with the Senator's  politics and  many of the events he orchestrated in his life,  you have the grace to acknowledge that to  some of us, he will also  be remembered for many great accomplishments.  He was a champion of civil rights, education, and the poor.  Thank you for exercising restraint, rather than tossing out easy cheap shots.  I appreciate the compassion you give us today.

I wonder how many of you, born wealthy, would have devoted your entire life, never retiring, fighting incessantly for the poor and underprivileged.  Joining the military after not one, but two, of your siblings were killed.  Enduring through one family tragedy after another.  Fighting against your own party's president when you thought he (Carter) was weakening the nation with timid foreign policy toward the Iranian regime.

I am not confident that I would not have taken the money and lived more for myself, or folded under the pressure of recurring tragedies, or behaved more silently with my own party.  In that light, I am not in a position to throw stones at Sen. Teddy Kennedy.  I wish him peace.  He was not perfect, but he was a better man, and a far better public servant, than most people I know.

RIP

every time we got another education policy the level of our children's education became worse

the poor are still out there slaves to their handouts

now we have "hate crimes" - how stupid it that!

Teddies only claim to fame is the name he carried behind his first one! Teddy was born not wealthy but decantly filthy rich! His riches were born off the backs of the poor working man! His families politics were directly in line with old Joes! Yes to pass a reasonable conclusion about senator keddedys life one would have to study his politics  and that of his family! the families only aspiration was to buy the presidency for Joe jr.  Well Jack got it by default ! Only after Jack secretly divorced his first nazi wife ! Remember that skirt wearin hoover was still in charge to keep all these torrid secrets! Teddy was a socialist to the core on top of being a womanizer;drunk; adulterer; thief; drug lord; illegal offshore banker! Shall I continue! Strange that the remaining kedddy's dissappear so fast soon after the time ran out on the telling of the truth of Jacks assanination! but being a senator does have it's advantages

Men and women who have a burning desire for Money and Power   are never   quitters....He was  known for not being a  "Quitter.."

Neither are the heads of the most corrupt Socialist countries and the War Lords who pump our country with illegal drugs, etc..No just being known as     Doing things,,that kept you in the top wealthiest   doesn't mean your accomplishments are all deemed   Honest and Good....Like a   Bowl of  Chex Mix.... some are eatible and some are darn hard to swallow...!!!
