MY POINT ,..exactly MICHEAL , why the crusade for some dog's that are no longer alive ? when "THE CRUSADER " SHOULD BE CONCERNED with her own dog's ,..as for NIKOSMASTER , don't you have 2 15 gallon kero jug's of chip's? YES YOU DO ,.where doe's he owe you a damn thing? ,, his NAME IS RIGHT ON THEM , huh? WHAT has he ever taken from you ? nothing !,.but the hand's in his pocket are too numberous to count from "your family ".

As for the original subject of this thread, the pics I saw of the dogs didn't show me dogs that looked all that bad. That they had conditions leading to their having to be euthanized, that is sad, yes. That they should have been cared for better, perhaps. Cages 23 hours a day is to my mind neglectful.
That said, preventives for the heartworm and treating any mange issues isn't that expensive, but cancer is a costly thing, and with the economy being what it is, you will start seeing a lot more dogs being euthanized for a lot less than cancers, as people juggle the weight of responsibilities to their families with responsibilities to their dogs. She should have been returned to a breeder for care, or euthanized before she suffered that much.
But this drama that suddenly is back here, the GSL/ Kitkat drama that is oozing through this thread, is really getting old. From what I've read here, seems like Kitkat may be learning not to stoop to the jabs, although those posts may have been deleted. Regardless, all of you, keep that insane drama off this board. A conversation about dogs doesn't need to discuss all the past buried nonsense.
As for the eighty-year old lady living in a filthy, nasty trailer, if it bothers you so much, GSlov/skullrylla, why don't you get her some help? There should be senior services available to help her out, and if she has all this money you accuse kitkat of skimming off, then she should be able to afford to hire some help if she needs it.
Do you have any idea how many elderly people are living in filth and squalor in nursing homes around the USA? It's easy to point fingers, but I don't see anything being done. All I can say is do something or shut up about it. Things are getting bad all over, whatwith people losing their homes. There are folks who would love to have a dirty trailer to call home, it being better than a cardboard box. This infernal trash crops up every so many months, and it's almost like clockwork. Does this correspond to the supply of your meds running out? If so, please get a refill.
