Overall.
Organisationwise it was not the "Deutsches Grundlichkeit".
Parkingplaces was a big problem especially in the weekend.
Moneywise parking was more expensive than the entryfee.
Parking was 5 Euro per day and if you had a dogtrailer or a camper you paid 10 Euro a day.
So if you were there the whole 4 days with dogtrailer you had to pay 40 Euro.
Entry fee for the 4 days was 18 Euro.....

Coffee...... or NO coffee.....
One would expect that with such an event (20 000 spectators over 4 days), the organisation would and should have given the caterers instructions to at least make sure there was enough coffee ALL of the time.
Too often coffee was sold out (and if there is one thing where you make money.... it's coffee at 2 Euro for a cup (0.3ltr))

The same can be said about the German Bockwurst.....
The catering opened one pack, warmed them, sold them and THEN put the next pack in the water to warm etc etc etc.
If you wanted chips you had to wait long and then you got.... half frie chips. And not that was only problem, they only used two small pans to fry them in......
Almost everyone was complaining about the catering.
Beer and soda's was not a problem.....

The catalogue.... Due to the fact that the BSP was held the weekend prior to the WUSV the catalogue was printed later then normal BUT when the draw finally started, there were catalogues but NO timeschedules............ And the standard answer you got when asking for schedules was the they would arrive at the end of the draw...... NOT....

There where enough vendors and room for the vendors wich was good.
Looking at the people with bags and what we bought, I can only conclude that they (or most of them) did good business.

Overall it was a good WUSV where we have seen some good dogs.
Defending champ of Spain did a very nice routine and left champworthy the battlefield.
I believe that Charlie (USA - 01) trialled 1 year too long. A shame, imo, that this dog didn't stop at his height last year.
Javir (GER - 02) did not show as well in OB as last year. This also was the same at the BSP. Still a good result.
HOL - 03 had a very good weekend coming 5th which could have been 3rd but he lost 2 points on the long down.
The Kimbo progeny showed powerfull helperwork.
Buying a worldchampion doesn't mean you ARE a worldchampion. The performance of Angsbacken's Rosso, imo, was poor and not impressive at all.
The German female in heat did very nice OB.
Nice OB routines from i.e USA 02/04 and 05 that maybe didn't result in V scores or even SG scores but temperamentfull dogs that showed good workingdrives.
Hungary - 01 did very nice protectionwork with good grips - fight and outs.
Hun - 05 came fast on the longbite.
UKR - 04 dog in in control but when you walk very slowly to the start the long bite you DO get applaus when you arrive at the end of the field....
CZE - 03 did very well in practice but not so good in trial
SVK - 02 Hard on the long bite
SUI - 06 Dog did the hold and bark plus the bark / guarding on the field on top of the sleeve ---> not a good idea. No good grips when the reattack came....(bad training)
SWE 03 and 05 showed very nice work in training
AUT - 03 hard on the long bite
NOR - 05 same
NED - 05 female was ill and the coach tried to get her rescheduled for sunday afternoon but the response he got was: or the dog is ill or you trial.
MEX - 01 -- supurb bitework
ISR - 01 TRUE CHAMP
GBR - 06 very good escapebite (I think this dog was not trained in the UK......)
IRL - 03 Good fighter and hard on the long bite
Germany overall very good especially just one week after the BSP
DEN - 01 what struck us in training was the very poor jumping over the 1 meter time and time again.....
DEN - 03 Good fighter and out's and hard on the long bite
DEN - 04 in training very nice but not so good in trial
CAN - 04 same as above
Brasil showed to have very good trackers this WUSV

And then of course there was the socializing during the whole weekend......
People from the group that I met:
Sue di Cero and Hal Lymus.
Always nice to meet these people.

There's proberly more to the WUSV but that's for next year in Sevilla Spain (21 - 24 Oct)

oh oh....looks like someone is upset with my post....Now now...don't take it personal...it's just one mans opinion..though I I tend to believe what he wrote!

@steve1

Please read my posts carefully or otherwise let the 1000 people who saw what you saw speak for themselves.

The helpers were definitely not the best I ever saw, but the job they did was apparently according the wishes from Diegel, because he and he alone is responsible for the selection of 4 helpers of which finally the 2 helpers on the championships were chosen. So if anyone is to blame, Diegel is. That's my opinion!

 @Judron55

Thank you for your very detailed resume which gives a good overall impression of the WUSV championships in Krefeld.
