Yeah, the surgery is done, but not the three follow-ups, each with its own price.....

Thank You sooo Very Much shepherdpal :-))   My boo bah is truly blessed with all the people that have come forward to help him out in his time of need.

mking, I don't think I will be posting anything about his recovery on here, as we have had some nastiness directed towards us in 1 way or another. If the Nice people care to know they can email me and ask how he is doing.

VomMarischal, You are absolutely right. We have 3 visits that come each with their own price tag as well as another surgery to remove the 5 pins in his leg when it is time. The cost is just  starting to sky rocket, and literally freaks me out. I think, and I hope I'm wrong, that people think the surgery is done and that's it. Unfortunately it's not. He has 3 more visits to Michigan State University, and on top of that another surgery to remove the pins. This is why I'm keeping the ChipIn box up on my site. I can only pray that we get to Brix's goal so all his needs are covered.
Thanks Again for Everyone's help with my baby boy :-)

Keep me posted, Kelly. Keeping a charged up puppy on "hold" to recover from a surgery is a BIG job.

Many years ago, we had to take back a Dobie pup that we had sold, because the owners could not afford a bone surgery she needed after they stupidly let her get injured. Had to keep a 4 month old Dobie crated and carry out to potty and back in.  She recovered and did great, we placed her with some great people;  but for the rest of her life, she thought I ought to pick up her 70# butt and carry her!

I will keep everyone up to date through email that has been exceptionally nice and helped Brix out in 1 way or another. It's just really hard for me to post anything about my boo bah  on here any more do to all the nastiness that we have received. We have had a LOT of Good people on here as well, but for right now I'm just not comfortable posting his recovery. Plus it is going to be a VERY LONG 1 too!!!! I will keep you posted Okie, Thank You.

I know VomMarischal, I am Extremely happy for all the Good Hearted people that have helped out my  Boo Bah :-))
It is from some people on this forum as well as other's from all over, on other forums, through emails being passed around, etc. There just are not words to say How Much I Appreciate All of the Support for my baby boy!!!  I have been trying to put in as much as I can towards his surgery's as well, but hopefully we can reach Brix's goal so he can be completely taken care of through this surgery he had and the other surgery he will need. I Hope Everyone has a Very Merry Christmas, and a Blessed New Year.
