Kelly, I can see very clearly where the break was and how it has healed. This is one of the unfortunate possiblities of a growth plate fracture.
As far as you who are doubting Kelly, she is not a scam.

Actually.....
"Having had previous soft tissue radiation also increases the risk of OSA. As does having a metallic implant (fracture repair). This is very rare though and should not discourage an owner from repairing a fracture."
http://vetmedicine.about.com/library/viewers/ucosa-a.htm
"Causes
Canine osteosarcoma can be caused by various things. Two of the most common causes include chemical carcinogens and radiation. Foreign metal objects inside your dog may also cause him to develop canine osteosarcoma. Abnormalities such as healed bone fractures are also a common cause."
http://www.dog-illnesses.com/canine-osteosarcoma/
"Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common bone tumour in dogs and is characterized by a highly invasive and metastatic behaviour. This tumour frequently affects middle-aged, large breed dogs (less than 5% occur in breeds smaller than 12 kg) and arises in 75% of cases in the metaphyseal area of bones of the appendicular skeleton. The median age of dogs with OSA is 6-7 years. Males are more commonly affected than females. A cause for OSA is unknown although many etiologies have been stipulated (radiation, microtrauma, genetics, implants, nutrition)."

And I didn't say anything about any dog's legs. I didn't bother to look at the xrays because I really don't care. If I can help the poor dog by providing info that 99% of vets won't have, then that's great. I haven't nearly enough time to even bother wondering how many legs are bowed, why, and if Kelly is a scammer.

There are a lot of breeders like Kelly that take a lot of effort to place her dogs in the right homes otherwise Brix would have been in a home months ago and she wouldn't had to deal with this issue.
I totally understand other members wondering whether this is a scam as there are many idiots on this forum that take avantage of others and I assure you that Kelly is not one of these people. She has just been caught in a period of having an injury to her dog and the lack of money to repair it. I only hope that all of you don't ever fall onto hard times and have an issue with your dogs!!!!!!!!!

When one breeds, it is up to the breeder, to take care of the issues associated with produced pups. I think that is what many people feel here. Those who care to donate will, but many have other ways to give and will choose to do that. So don't mix up what this is about.

If Kelly could afford to fly around the country with Brix, to visit with every guru ortho vet someone recommends, she wouldn't have put out a call for $$$ help.
By going to MSU with Brix, Kelly has gone to one of the best facilities in the country. The other facilities are just like MSU - State university vet programs. This is where you go for the latest and greatest treatment options. Did your corner guru invent the stuff he is so well known for? Hell no! He went to these very same institutions that Kelly sought out. Has your corner guru attended all the seminars, symposiums and lectures in the past 3 years? Probably not. Some of the ones that have are some of the ones that looked at Brix today.
So lighten up and support Kelly with kind words or $$$ help. If you can't do that, then STFU.
