Hi Jenni78, I'm not too clued up on the different breeders in the US, being that I'm from 'deepest, darkest Africa'

I'm glad things are looking more positive for Orso. He and the donor dog will be in my thoughts.

Vanessa....I meant that sincerely. If you aren't aware of Kraftwerk, you are lucky. There's not a snowball's chance in hell that he would help Orso, or any other dog for that matter.

Update: Orso is still doing well, although he remains heavily sedated, as is usual after this surgery. His creatinine is lower than it was yesterday, which is a good sign. The donor dog is doing very well--up and about and eating and drinking.

Brief update: I don't know the details of the lab reports, but Orso seems to be progressing every day.
