OK I have an update. My boy was not a match. But there is a full match. Not sure when the surgery will take place but Alex has promised to keep me updated and I will keep you guys updated. Bravo to the person on the West Coast that has stepped up and I hope everything goes really well for your dog. To everyone that is a praying sort please keep Alex and Orso in your prayers that the surgery will go well and the kidney is not rejected. Also that he gets more years out of his life..........

Thank you for the update. :-) Hopefully, the person whose dog is a full match will identify her/him self after the surgery, so we can give them the recognition and support their generosity deserves. Kudos to all of you!!

I hope both dogs survive and live long , healthy, productive lives. That being said, it would not be my choice. I completely agree with Moons. Being a freaking Christian is totally irelevant - ask a Jehovah's Witness, LOL!

Update: The match looks good for the one dog. There is still some additional testing that has to be done before things are definite. Unfortunately, it will take at least a week to get the results. I'll post another update when the results come in. Orso is still doing well on dialysis.
