Because you seem to only post or start these types of threads? My friend when was the last you contributed any thing positive to a GSD discussion ? or start a thread souley to discuss a GSD topic? Ray have you ever titled a dog what type of training do you do? any thing would help displace the stigma you have brought upon your self.

Hm.
This is the same old thing that's been brought up for years. Very little has changed since I first started coming here.
I don't post under my real name and I stay anonymous for a very good REASON. Not BS because I want to disrupt the board, harass people, trash talk or post porn. Same reason I don't put much here, but I read a whole lot and study the pedigrees. If this place was set up where you must post under your real user name, I'd be gone. I do not belong to any boards that I have to post under my real name. My choice. Sign up with a credit card to verify identity, I'd be gone. Same reason. Again my choice.
Oli is one person.
He's done a great job developing this place over the years. It's his hobby and it costs him money to do. People complained about the advertising. Well, those ads keep this place up and running. People offered to pay to join up and use the site (I was one) and Oli said no. He wanted to keep this place free to use. And, let's not forget that Oli would have to set up a secure server, get with a company to process cards online (internationally), and deal with all the rules and regulations about credit cards, safety, etc. A little too much to ask and it all costs money.
I believe in treating people as I wish to be treated. Sorry, but that's how I was brought up.
It is the same to me no matter if it's person, on the phone or a on message board like this.
I've had some minor disagreements with a few people here. So what. It's a difference of opinion. I hold nothing against anyone here and hope no one feels I've done or said anything wrong to them. If so I apologize.
We all have a choice. Post intelligently and with a little sense and consideration for others. It's not difficult. Ignore the OT threads if they bother you. No one makes you read them. Sock puppets won't last long of they're constantly reported. Click the 'abusive" link Oli has given us for truly offensive posts. The free and open discussion here is one of the things that makes this place so good. No matter how well and fairly moderated any other board is, it's still censored.

As more people with other breeds begin to discover and take advantage of the pedigree services provided by Oli, more people with other breeds start to post on the message board portion. Oh BY THE WAY GUESS WHAT??? Oli added the GENERAL TOPICS section AT THE EXACT SAME TIME he added the other breeds!!!! At the time he stated he added the GENERAL TOPICS section for dog topics related to all breeds, not topics specific to one breed, but that's neither here nor there since you have made it abundantly clear you don't care why Oli does anything.
Don't start trying to "split hairs" -- you know EXACTLY what I asked and the Breed to which the questions pertain.
