Strut is now 20 months and this is her second time on table.  Helper is the master, Randy Rhodes, who is my trainer and mentor and he is doing a fabulous job with Strut.  I am a little fond of her :-)  Barb

Hi Barb, nice work, good dog :)  does Randy have a mali with a stub tail about 1.5 years old?  I might have the wrong person.

Hi Cee, thanks for compliment.  I so enjoy Strut and she is the first female I have taken to schutzhund, all the others being males.  Randy has never had a mal.  He has been on the World Team 6 times with 5 different dogs and is a wonderful trainer and is also so nice to work with also.  Barb

Nice bitch. Good Luck with her. Pardon my ignorance, as I am new to Schutzhund, but what is the purpose of table work? I have never seen it before.
Strut reminds me of one of my bitches, I like her!

Thanks Kim!  You know I am a bit partial to your gorgeous boy too.

Stacy, Randy chose to do some table with Strut to tap into her defense drive.  She is very high prey drive and to balance her a little he wanted to bring up her defense drive where the object is the man and less the sleeve.  You will notice when she gives him a good response to his hassling,  he switches back to prey by picking up the sleeve and giving her a bite.  We are going to do some hidden sleeve work too and all of this strengthens her barking which carries over nicely to the bark and hold on the ground.  There is too much bad table work out there which is part of the reason I posted this because Randy is very good at itl  Thanks for the compliment.  Barb

Looks like she is going well, We over here do not do any Table work at all and of course we are not lucky to have indoor faclities like some Clubs in the USA, it certainly would be of benifit in the worst of the Winter months
Very interesting to watch and Strut looks the real deal, good luck with her ScH1

Just a bit fond of her eh? I can see why. Very nicely done. Judged by the little I know about table work.
