Awww, I should try to dig up some pics of my old guy. I haven't ridden in years.

He can come and live here anytime. I have never ridden a Foxtrotter, must be nice! Just send him over to Maryland! I have to be careful with Echo though. She jumped a fence last year to "visit" the stallion. That was at her former owner's barn. The girl knows what she wants.

This is the only pic I have on my PC of any of my past horses. This was Jake, my paint I held on to the longest. Wish I had pix of his baby, my appendix filly, my daughters old buckskin appy and my first appy Jouquin. I kinda had to do away with the photos so I don't pine on the fact that they are all gone.

Moons, I had 3 horses and worked the board off at 2 barns. I shoveled alot of shit in my day. Broke alot of 2yr old Arabs, excersized alot of really nice horses out of my price range. Man I really need to get out of the house more...I'm like a shut in compaired to my younger days.

You gals can keep your high dollar warmbloods. Saw enough of those huge monsters when I lived in Germany. I'll keep my little pint sized cow ponies.

I think the most we had at one time was eight, its been so long ago.
I sold my mare and her foal  to a friend when I was around seventeen I think.

All of my pictures are old Polaroids and I don't have a scanner at the moment.
I almost lived on my horse till cars and girls came along, the end of my innocence.......

I'm like you,  I think I need to get out more often.

Moons, I have never had my own place to keep a horse, had to board. Sucked. I said not another horse till it can be located in the backyard.

Jenn, your little Cob is a cutie pie. Love his color and he looks like a fun horse. I can't even imagine trying to feed one of those 17hand 1700lb monsters that has to be stalled 22hrs a day and blanketed 365 nights a year. Unlike my dogs, my horses never cost me a single vet bill, most went barefoot, I went to farrier school and took care of their feet myself after that. I have my Jake to thank for that. He had the worst crumbling front hooves I have ever seen and I shod horses at UC Davis, who had all kinds of weird issues. Only requirements for the next horse...GOOD feet/easy keeper.

So many pictures of such beautiful horses. Now I am really missing it.Been 3 years since i have gone riding.Even if I don't ride...at least to be around them,grooming them,teaching them tricks....it was just calming.I use to lead people out on trails.When we were slow i would take the ones I like and take them on lead ropes and sit on the picinic table and let the graze. I might just have to go but one of my clients in to letting me ride one of their horses.

I miss mine too!!! It has been too many years since I had him!!! He was a beautiful chestnut Arabian named CR Battlestar, and he was my heart. When I got pregnant with my oldest and couldn't afford his board I had to sell him. This thread is killing me...

AND OMG!! I just googled him to see if I could find old pictures since mine all were waterdamaged, and I found a Facebook page that has a picture of his one and only son Rhashah!  WOW the internet can be an amazing tool! I could not get the FB link to come up, it kept going to my husband's page
