Not trying to scare you, your question was will Oli give ip addresses well if he puts them on site I guess he might give them out under the right circumstance. What ya think?

There was confusion because exposing the IP's was "inexact", it linked some posters with the same IP depending on the type of service provider. I'm not a techie, so someone else can explain it, but I remember it was funny because Deeswolf and I think it was Do Right, had the same IP. It was obvious they were not the same person. Others though--- that were bitchin' I don't remember. I do remember some folks did take screen shots before OLI took them off again.

1. Yes, it was quite revealing, when Oli had ALL the IPs displayed with each and every post. The cowards were howling the most...and diving for cover. Some have never been back...at least not under the same names and with the same behaviors.
2. YES, Oli has provided the IPs of specific posters at various times. That's what happens, when people choose to engage in criminal actions or actions that are actionable. It is, after all, Oli's board and those who cannot abide by the TOS can hardly be heard to complain, when their sheets (so to speak) are snatched off and their identities revealed.

So, am I to understand that IP's were revealed when their were Criminal actions or actions that are actionable? That is how Oli took action? Why weren't the the people Banned from the Board -- afterall, he had their IP Address and could have easily blocked them from registering/posting. This makes no sense at all.
