Mystere

If you have read this thread, then you know that MOST of it  relates to shiloh folks coming on the MOMENT the breed is mentioned and making false claims, which they were repeatedly challenged about.

"...and yet they came...and yet they came... "   Wasn't that a line in some horror movie?  Seems apt.

I stand by my claim. Back before Tina split her breed off from the GSD, she WAS heavily involved in Schutzhund with her Shiloh Shepherds:

In 1962 I wanted to start building my own reputation, and chose Konigin for my kennel name. I had researched all of the top kennels around, and seen some dogs at the shows Margo took me to, so I knew what I wanted. I already had a Liebestraum and a Wikingerblut female, now I wanted to expand. Odin von Busecker Schloss, was my idea of near perfection, I felt that his lines would cross well with my girls. Yet I was missing some of the confident temperaments I needed for the strenuous Schutzhund competitions I planned to train for. The Piastendamm dogs solved that problem for me quickly! Although not as big as I had hoped for, their temperaments were impeccable! When combined with the superior intelligence of the Liebestraum lines, this was an unbeatable combination!

Over the next decade I devoted every spare minute I had to my dogs. I degreed 14 Schutzhund dogs for NASA, while still participating in as many show circuits as I could squeeze in!

If Tina refuses to give you the details, that's her perogative. Given how rudely you've treated her and her dogs, I'm suprised she even bothers to answer you at all!

Once again, NO PROOF whatsoever?  The queries were made, repeatedly and politely.  They only became' Rude" when it became apparent that they were simply false claims that no one could back up.

I stand by my posts, too.  This is simply a crock and Tina does not respond to the simple queries because she can't: some of  the folks who were in NASA are still alive to dispute any specific lies!!     "Degreed" in schutzhund????  That sounds like a dead give-away in and of itself.

Rather than continue to quote your "bible" at us, why not respond to the specific queries?  Put up, or shut up.  But, of course, you'll do neither.      But, you will still drink the Kool--aide. <sigh>

You  know , there was an older woman in one of my clubs who could say she was "heavily involved in schutzhund" with at leaast three of Tina's creations.   She was heavily involved, alright, because, despite training for years,  she couldn't get a title on ANY of them, not even a B!  She finally gave up and got some German Shepherds.  She was able to titles on them, including taking one to Sch 2 , if not 3.

What is Even more Outrageous with the entire Shiloh threat NOW, is HOW Tina Marketed them.

 Personal Protection Plus!!
And Schutzhund...Exhibit A

They should seek AKC recognition---they could sell even more shilohs!!

Uglydog, that ad is from 1985. The Shilohs were still all AKC registered GSD's back then. The split happened around 1991.

IM may be wrong but I do not believe the AKC recognized schz  titles back in the sixties. So how would her pedigrees prove too any of you her dogs were schz titled back then ?

by Uglydog on 15 January 2009 - 02:01

When they were Registered has Nothing to do with it.

Tina marketed them for SchH. And Personal Protection.
Not 1 has been or Had Been SchH titled.  Thats dishonest. And unethical in my book.

I havent seen many 134lb GSDs titling SchH.   She knew well what she was doing.

Other Shiloh breeders & Owners are alot more honest in the Shilohs Working ability, or lack thereof.

Its all really quite sad to me.
