Please don't feed the DDR-DSH troll.  Janice Bartmess has mental issues and has been convicted for animal cruelty.  Anyone that abuses and causes animals to die in their care has no place posting on a dog forum and should never own animals again.  She is not fit to own a  goldfish.

Goldfish? That's a bit high on the evolutionary scale, isnlt it. Fish can be trained. I know, because the damn koi at the Japanese Garden have learned that visitors feed them and the gross things not only mass where you stand, with their little mouths glob+globbing above the water, those fish will follow you as you walk away. Ergo, fish may be too intelligent as a life form. So, how about amoeba, instead of a goldfish? :-)

You are correct.  Either amoebas or paramecium's should be the only life form Janice Bartmess should be allowed to own.  I'd agree to letting her have parasites, it would be like a family reunion.

 To the mentally deranged, ALL attention is good attention. Like I always joke when someone tells me so-and-so is talking about me, "all publicity is good publicity." The truth is that there are sick, lonely people out there who crave ANY kind of recognition. The best method is Schaferhunden's, or simply ignoring the person altogether. There is nothing to be gained from stirring the pot, though it is hard to refrain sometimes.

SIMPLY DO NOT RESPOND. I've had to sit on my hands a time or two and remember what Mommy said : "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. " I typically did not listen to Mommy, but occasionally, she may have had a point. In this case, I think it's the best course.
