Sam, hope you are making a joke abou the white/green rattle snakes, if not,  there are quite a few "morphs" which have popped up in the hobby by accident and also thru select inbreeding.  even scaleless versions of been bred.

I care about conservation with these species, not what the next cool morph they can breed.

YR, once I get my snake racks built, I would be more than happy to make the 3 hour drive to tyler area and take a few live ones off your hands.

What in the world is a snake rack?  do not tell me you are like my old neighbor in Galveston county..I went over one day and his wife said  Jan you are not gonna believe what is in the garbage can out back that Roger is raising????no  I wouldn't and wished I had not looked.........dozens of tiny rats....mice or whatever.... I freaked...6 months later same neighbor had an OPossum stuck in her Drapery Bar above the window in the den....Roger left back patio door open in early mornings when he swam...we both had swimming pools and had trouble with VARMENTS ...mine was in a screen room but the mice and rats ate holes in the  expensive black pool screen and ended up in the skimmer....dead but I wouldnt touch them....Roger always left patio door open in early mornings and this possum had been in house for a day or so..Mary remembers night before  thinking her poodle was by the bed and come to find out   this possum had been in their bedroom and the closet..they found proof and she is afraid that is what she reached over the bed and touched thinking it was her poodle making a noise beside the bed awakening her in a stooper......

I had to get my sons friend to come get it out with big gloves and a net...hissed and tried to eat him...Mary almost divorced Roger . I would have given him a new bed outside on a  pool lounger and locked him out there ...let him sleep with the Opossums and rats...

I can save you a few of these creatures if you want..My son had huge yellow tool boxes that are lockable and he kept a copperhead young snake in it three months not opened with dirt and some leaves and it lived....so  let me know  I will have son in law  capture them and call you.....What in the world are you gonna do with them....??

Yellowrose of Texas   minus copperheads.....

snake rack is like a rodent rack, shelving with slide/locking rubbermaid tubs for the snakes.  heat strip on one end to maintain body temp.  easiest best way to keep a large # of reptiles,  can only keep soo any in fish aquarums before you have no room for furniture in the house, lol.  not sure when I would be able to come get them, so don't bother keeping them at the moment.  my van is needing a new break job, but we also have dental appts. and other thins going o at the moment.

Well here's my 2 cents,  I don't support just killing them out of fear or potential for risk, if that was the case then we should definitely eliminate coyote's, croc's, spiders, predatory birds, and anything else that could cause us or our pet's harm.

15,000 dogs and cats bitten by poisonous snakes in the United States annually. The highest envenomation fatality rates occurred in Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Texas. In dogs, 70-80 percent of bites occur on the face and head, and 20-30 percent occur on the legs, with only rare cases occurring on the body. Rattlesnakes account for 80 percent of dog envenomations, while cottonmouth/water moccasin and copperheads are responsible for the remaining 20 percent.

There is a vacine for snakebite  http://www.redrockbiologics.com/FAQ.html#2  don't know much about it though, will need to talk to my vet.

Also my vet offers snakebite aversion classes to help train dogs to avoid snakes, not 100% effective always but should help, period.

Deaths from venomous snakebite never have been high in Texas, and the Texas Department of Health's Bureau of Vital Statistics recorded no snakebite deaths in 1991, 1992 and 1993. The bureau recorded just three snakebite deaths in 1989 and 1990 combined.

It's far more likely that any snake you encounter in Texas will not be one of the venomous species. Most snakes are harmless; all are essential parts of our ecosystem. For example, many snakes help keep populations of prolific mice in check. Only 15 of the approximately 113 species and subspecies of snakes found in Texas are venomous, and some of these are in remote areas where contact with humans is rare.
About 7,000 people are bitten by venomous snakes in the U.S. annually.
Only 0.2% (1 out of 500) venomous snake bites result in death
On average, 1 to 2 people in Texas die each year from venomous snake bites in Texas.
Roughly half of all venomous snake bites are "dry." That is, the snake does not inject venom into the victim.

How about 29 in three days . I have posted some of the pics...and three were 5ft long and one 6 foot long ...grand pa , dad and a mom and some kin....all in one place at back of property ... Rose,
Sorry to see that, I know it's painful.
As much as I love the natural ways, I would bring in some friends and really go over the place inch by inch, offer a prize for the most found.
Poor girl.

Moons.
