Dear Kougar. I`m sorry but i think your blind or just dont understand my bad english......I know the dog, i have seen him many times, i know the owner and the former owner and that was the judge`s wife and she had to give the dog away before he went 2 years old yes right, becourse she was bitten by him.....and so on....this is first hand and not a roumor,but all this you can read on the site where the video are......find yourself a translating program and see for yourself.....if you do and try to understand why the site is become on the internet.....we don`t have to discus Ulko anymore :-)

Hi Bluenight! You brought this topic up, so the least you could do now (instead of turning your back on us), is indeed copy the interesting stuff, translate it as you suggested with a translationprogramm (allthough I think your english is good enough to offer the members of this board a fairly good translation) and offer a summary of the site you are talking about. I visited the site but I cannot read it, what a funny language it is. There are other danish people around here that could help us, in case you would mess things up, so go ahead and offer us something. I'll be checking in again in the morning to see what you are talking about.

Well Bluenight, Since You have seen Ulko that many times, and seem to know this dog so well etc. .... Only God knows where from, cause I do not think I've seen You that close around. I think Your memory is lacking a bit - once is for sure You are NOT bringing pure facts on the table! Since I've chosen to write my name You probably know me already ... Or maybe not I'm so anonymous that even You forgot that I've had "my fingers all over him too"? Just to refresh Your memory, i'm the Breeders wife. Ohhh by the way, I'm the one who handled and trained Ulko for his BHPI, BHP3 and Koerung in Denmark as well as in Germany. This is way out of line ... I'm pretty sure if You used all Your time with Your own dog on the field, You might be ably to come up with some results similar to Ulko's, and at the same time You should then be proud of what You've accomplished. Denmark is a small country with a population of app. 5 mio. people. Ulko had nearly 100 breedings when he passed 4 years of age - Could that be the reason why we sold him ? Actually all this nonsens made me write, cause I'm sick and tired of people talking and not knowing what they are talking about. Since You obviously have nothing but negative comments submitted by incomplete facts given to You from second or third hand, You should keep them to Yourself. I think You've made Your point - Let the rest of the world make their own decision. I can only speak for myself - I'm an Ulko Fan cause I honestly know the dog !!

That is why you never go by hearsay. See what rumors can do to the reputation of ANY dog. Would you like it done to any of your GSD'S, if you are breeders? I think not. Dawn Bonome

bluenight, The next time you bash on a popular dog and feel the need of sending out some links… make sure that it has an English section to explain the cause. Not all of us know Danish. I do think it’s rude for you to tell us to buy some translation program just because you’re too lazy to translate it for us.

Thank you Heidi my good friend for writing. I have been busy and normally do not read all these post but a friend called and said there was a discussion about a Karat's dog I should read, know that Heidi and Jimmy and their girls and all their dogs are very good friends of mine and have been for many many years. Over the years I have had the pleasure of having Karat's dogs and they are among the best in the world. Jimmy has always been perfectly honest with me about all of his dogs as he respects my training and showing abilities. Last year Jimmy told me about Ulko and offered the dog to me as he was looking for a GOOD PERMANENT HOME for the dog to live the rest of his life in. Jimmy knows my dogs live like Kings. Jimmy also knows and loves my daughter and would NEVER offer me a dog that was "DANGEROUS" Ulko is a strong dog, excellent for breeding, especially since most females could use more temperament and strength to pass to their puppies. I would have taken Ulko in a minute expect I already owned Lutz v. Bad Boll and he is my daughters dog so I knew he would never leave my home and with a young daughter it would have been difficult to balance 2 males that know they are males!!! I do not want a man that is not sure he is a man I certainly do not want a male dog that thinks he is anything other than the KING!! STOP bashing and guessing about a dog you know nothing about. Look to your own kennel or sofa or where your dogs live and think about your own issues. Charlie Star is a excellent and experienced dog trainer and handler and I have full faith in his abilities and if he is showing and breeding Ulko then that makes the dog fine in my opinion. Sorry for the long response but these kind of post with LOTS of GUESSING and very few FACTS just get to me, its the reason I stopped reading these forums. To many people that have learned everything they think they know something about from the INTERNET. You can only learn it by being out there and doing it. Mandy / Heidi. Will you please confirm it here to everyone, have Ulko lost the VA1 title in Denmark or not?if he has we have to take bluenights word for good and if not he is just spamming. You both are defending the dog very strongly and i understand your point of view but i dont understand why you have to tell the hole world how strong the dog is....we rather like to know if the dog have had problems in denmark and if,what kind of. Maybe Heidi will be so nice and translate the danish site to us. Thanks

Sweetie, if this is really that important to you why don't you make that extra effort and contact the Danish Kennel Club or Shepherd Club yourself and get the info first hand...
