Ladyfrost.......

PERFECT analogy!  A used car salesman is perfect comparison for the puppy seller!  It is just too bad that the puppy is a living breathing animal!

Well... If you want to know, and have specific questions, do like I did.... CALL HIM.
I spoke to the man for about an hour and a half, and got a TON of answers. He WILL talk to you about this.
His number is public... Look it up!!
Quit hiding behind yourselves and get on the damn phone.
I see I am the only one thus far to have the guts to do this?

Vickie....point is buyer be aware....be smart do your reaserch..i bet this would have never happened to you....you would have  requested more info and documentation and x rays prior to pulling out $800...right?..  thats all i am saying...we get what we put our time and energy into....I will never make that mistake because i don't pay more than adoption fee for my dogs, and I  usually blindly adopt/take in my dogs w/o papers, w/o x-rays....and the best dog i had was the one that no one wanted....
we all take risks, and make descissions...and I agree with RH...buyers are not complaining so why should we?

come on people where are your ethics? He minus well breed dogs with bad hearts or bad hips and bad temprament. Isnt there reasons for meeting certain reqierments for breeding the gsd.? Or is a good website enough? It doesnt matter if he is a nice guy or not.

Hmmm...I hope Rooka is happy. Perhaps, most of these people didn't post on her thread because the didn't want to rain on her parade. There's a ton I'd like to say, but I've held off and I think many have. I feel sorry for Rooka. Her knowledge of the breed isn't great and she relied on others to lead the way. They relied on the breeder's reputation as a very good poster with knowledge of Cz lines.

Ladyfrost,
...if i can get for my 2002 Chevy $2000.00 i would...but unfortunately i cant find anyone to pay that so I am settling for $850.00 and I am not telling whats wrong w/ under the hood..it's their job to do research and take it to a mechanic...no difference.

That's great.  I'm glad I'm not in the market for a car.  Very nice, I guess the "buyer beware" goes double for those looking to buy a car from you.   So, being honest about what is wrong with the car is not an option?  As long as you feel you get as much as you can for the car it's the buyer's problem.  I guess you just hope it doesn't crap out until it gets out of your driveway and the warranty expires.

LadyFrost...Naturally you always take the car to a mechanic before purchasing but it would seem "ethical" to say what is wrong with the car so that the buyer can take it to a mechanic and see how bad it is plus other things that you may not be aware of..  To not say anything is just wrong.
