Reuters news agent on CNN asked a special forces sniper what he feels when he shoots an Al Quaeda freedom fighter from such a long distance?  The sniper responds with.......recoil

I love it when a news reporter, trying to start something like with this Vick's interview, gets it handed back and that is pretty much the end of it.

He can own a dog after 2012 when his probation is up. I have no issue with him having another dog. Probably would be the best treated/taken care of dog in the country. He has 2 kids and they should have a dog.  To some people he can never be forgiven and so be it, they have their right to feel that way. Some have moved on and let the man live his life.  I got my own skeletons in my closet so living in a glass house, I refuse to throw stones.  People have more hatred for Vick than they do for the politicians in Congress, wall street and other sectors that have f*cked up this economy.  Those people and decision directly affect you, Vick doesn't.

There are breeders that cull puppies if they feel that they are not up to the GSD standard in their opinion. They have no issue with drowning, suffocating or whatever in the name of the"standard". They keep breeding dogs......
Hell we just had s guy on here who had a puppy and felt that it wasnt good enough for sport so he was going to cull it. People were recommending him other breeders for another dog.

I personally don't agree with just culling pups if they are not up to standard but that is me. 

 Some people Can change, Few do,  In reading some of the stories from people who were able to get one of the dogs that came from this mess, and the shape they were in, some missing their lower jaw,  meaning they were used as bait,   I cannot even imagine the mentality of someone who could do these things,  I don't think he should ever be allowed the privilege of owning another dog.  Lida

Gucci let's not try and make over the top statements. We've all seen the pics and no dogs were missing their lower jaws. Think about it for a minute. A dog missing his lower jaw could not eat and would have had to be fed by tube.... A dog like that would have been put down. Let's stick too facts.

Yes, stick to facts. For anyone who has forgotten the jist of the facts in this case, try carefully reading the papers at this link. It is graphic, although a bit of a pain because of all the names blocked out. It clearly provides evidence that Vick plead guilty to, including drowning, hanging, slamming dogs and breaking backs etc. etc. etc.  There are other court documents available too for someone who is not too lazy to read them. For anyone here who would give any kind of excuse as to what Vick did, well, again, the facts speak for themselves.

And he is, by court order NEVER allowed to own another dog unless a court order overturns that provision. It is sickening that he thinks a dog could help him in HIS rehab......what a sick son of a .......... he is. 

But the American public has a short and lazy memory. So what he did is implicitly ok after some time goes by......

By the way, if the AKC took measures to suspend someone for years, and it is so tough to even have such a suspension made, what does that say about anyone who had such a suspension? You don't get 10 years, 15 years or any lengthy suspension for paper work problems.....think about it. Such suspensions are made for other reasons.....................

Wow a dog fighter getting put in the same sentence as a child sex predator! I don't codone it but let's keep it in perspective. 

a dog fighter is no better no worse than a person who fights roosters (which by the way is still legal in some areas of the United States)

James...I agree, many countries that allow dog fighting and rooster/chicken fighting.  Not condoning it just saying different cultures.
