Thanks for your replies.

ha my post went bye bye,

Again, I think you will be fine purchasing a dog from these people. The only thing to remember 99% breeders in Czech or Slovakia will not replace a puppy if something goes wrong( like the hips are not breedable and so on).

 1) Is this your first GSD?

2) What are you planning to do with your dog?

3) How much time do you have to spend with the dog?

cheers

If you are looking fro Pure Czech lines then there are pretty much most bloodlines available in US you do not need to import from Outside. There are pretty good folks on this board who can help you with these lines.

You are looking at a Czech crossed with WG lines. Why this combination?. What do you like about this cross? Why not pure CZech lines?

This is my 5th GSD.
My first was SAR

Second is SchHIII

Third and Fourth are littermates and are SchI and Agility dogs.

I am looking for above club level SchH

don;t get me wrong, the only reason for posing these questions is to help you introspect since you came here with a query and help you ask yourself questions which you may not have pondered over. A bloodline is a very delicate balance made by a breeder based on his/her years of experience and true gut instinct. So why are you looking at a cross between two worlds?? I'm very intrigued by this decision of yours.

Still imposts are cheaper than so called "whol package dogs" from USA..

I can get hell of a puppy from there for 1500 usd. the sama quality dog is 1800 and up in the USA.. sometimes price is the final decision maker.

Also most people in Czech work the dogs and compet with some, here, female gets to breedable age, and starst producing litters and nothing more will be done with her.

There is a gread breeding you can look at Errix Lusy comming up... you would have to find about the prices if you are interrested in very good quality breeding where the dogs were worked. not just bred.

There is another breeding comming up later this year but I am not sure if you want to wait.
I agree with Vikram there are good breedings in the USA but you will end up paying more (but you get the breeder's back up on hips)

good luck!

Vikram and others
with all due respect,
you can not by definition get "Czech" dogs outside of Czech rep. unless they were imported. Or unless they are out of females imported in whelp or unless they were bred outside of Czech by Czech people or unless they were matched pair by Czech people who care about this type of a dog, that is based on their philosophy and culture of what these dogs are and ought to be all about. Just because someone out in let say USA or Rwanda Burundi  throws haphazardly 2 dogs of  Czech origin of good or bad quality of together and breed them, such peson  can not claim "Czech" dogs. Not ethically anyway. They are USA dogs or Rwanda Burundian dogs.  I am and my partners in Czech are devoting our lives to preserve these old style type dogs against this type of the attitude.
Also there are many breeders in Czech who do not breed "old style" Czech dogs too.  They breed show lines and sport lines. There is only narrow circle of people who cares about these type of dogs.
In order to preserve these dogs; vote with your dollar.
