Red Sable

I think it is just fine the way it is!  It is a very valuable resource and I use it all the time.  I've seen no evidence of malicious tampering in my use of it.

BTW, History of changes button is only there if there have been changes made.

Just for fun I checked my dogs pedigree and I see the breeder fixed the name, I had it entered in backwards, so that is a good thing!

Steve, go back to Orrys pedigree again, click on siblings you'll see Orry listed there with the correct spelling.

When I registered my first dog on the PDB, I had to register both of his parents.

***Nona: I know you did not change the information, just added information, though it did cause me to think about other possible situations, so please don't think I am implying you changed registration information on that dog.

Sueincc, Although you didn't need to explain yourself to me, Thanks for clarifying that.....Everyone on here knows I did not maliciously edit, alter, add, or change anything on any pedigree....However to point  out that I did that, was a perfect opportunity to redirect the attention from the original intent of the other thread, as redirecting is done all the time....

I think that all opinions stated here are good  valid points to each person posting them....However, to limit it to only the person that submitted the pedigree,  the ability to add, edit, or correct pedigrees, would be a big disadvantage of the purpose of the pedigree section...If a pedigree is changed in anyway, the person doing it is noted.....If maliciosuly done, once it is called to the attention to the admin, the proper actions can be taken......I am sure from that point the proper actions if necessary, will be taken.......

Trust me, the way certain members are constantly looking for reasons to point out errors or left out information on pedigrees, It will be found.....It has happened to pedigrees I submitted, and ironically it was the same person pointing it out....Not to mention, that person had no interest in that pedigree or dog AT ALL..So why point it out?????   In my opinion, that is just as malicious as editing for the wrong reasons.....So no need to worry, someone is watching over the pedigrees....

Nona, I never said that you maliciously changed anything. I just found it odd that last week you stated that you do not touch pedigrees that do not belong to you, then you stated this week that you changed someone else's pedigree. I never said you did anyhing wrong with the pedigrees.

How fast can a good thread be closed?

nonacona60 and Don Corleone, stay on topic. You're repeating everything you've already said elsewhere. Take it private. Any more posts about I said/you said/no I didn't are going to be deleted.

I suggest that option for Czech HD rating be added.

Making a new entry that is incorrect is a sort of scamming, can the system track the original creator of an entry?

Ibrahim, If you looked at a pedigree on the history tab, you will see all changes that have been made and who made them...So if there is an issue, it can be traced back to who did it.....

.... so it gets "traced back" to the person who did it, and then what ????
