It is the same dog.   Shelley is correct about the tail; in addition, the shape of the head and the muzzle is exactly the same in the before/after pictures.

Yes, same dog.

She looks a heck of a lot better.  Got to give Vicki and whoever donated toward her credit for that.  Poor thing looked close to death in the first pic.

Thank you Vicki.

Thank you for your labor of love, Vicki! The transformation is amazing. I admire anyone willing to take a chance against all odds to save a life. Renee

Definitely the same dog!

Vickie, It was my pleasure to help. What I did was the easy part. You are the one who has put so much time and effort into caring for Heidi. Bless you for all you've done to get her health restored.

It appears to be the same dog in all the pictures....unless you compare the male to Heidi..Than NO they don't look like the same dog.....

Naturally when a dog has nearly no hair it appears much lighter.  Look at any GSDs color in summer versus winter. The head type is identical.

What a silly woman you are, and your post shows how much you know about dogs, in general nothing at all  it seems,
The Dog was emaciated with mange, and  probably being eaten alive with worms and fleas etc and goodness knows what else.
Of course it was down its coat would be light to what it is in the last Pic's where it is gaining good health. If the blood is not fed then a Dogs coat will be lighter as would the eye colour go lighter.it is called being anemic, loss of red blood corpuscle's through the body not being fed and ravaged by parasites after  a certain amount has gone then the subject will die.
Remember it is the blood that feeds the body directly or indirectly.
If this was not the case we may as well have water running through our veins
Of course it is the same Dog but not the version shown in the first PIc's and a great job done by Powerhaus,  another Dog saved from certain death, congrats to all involved

I'm really happy to see that Heidi is doing so well.  Of course it's the same dog!   The question is, who vetted and cared for her through the ordeal?  I'm sure it would be wonderful to go for a viist or have her come over, under the guise of caring about her progress and of course, for a photo op.  Funny how that bill still hasn't materialized (wasn't it going to be posted yesterday?), but then, with all the kudos and back patting, who's got the time?

There's so much (amazing how much)  public information that can be viewed, surprises me that most haven't given it a try.  Of couse, we can't be sure that fines in the tens of thousands of dollars for a large number of pesky discretions are really warranted, most likely bogus because AC just doesn't like some people and has it in for them.  Where have I heard that before?

There have been so many questions raised about this breeder/rescuer in so many other situations and she's always promising to post her "proof", but it never seems materialize and it gets buried once again under all of the applause!  REDIRECTION at it's best. Truly amazing!
