Don't know if she's ready to be serious. You may have two choices. Continue to work the dog in prey until ready to bring in defense OR you can wait to work the dog when it is ready, muturity wise. Myself, I'd continue to work the dog in prey and slowly add in pressure when she can take it. I'd lose the fence too. In this case, it's not good. Build her confidence on the field. Let her push the helper.

Chaz: I have no problem taking a step back and continue to work her on the field in prey until she is ready.  I just hope I will know when that is.  I appreciate the advice.
