There are one ot two Girl Helpers over here, and there are a few Qualified ScH Judges over here who are Women, they do a very good job indeed, If the Girl is fit enough to do the Job then no difference to the Guys who also have to be fit.

I do some helper work and suitwork.  I primarily started because my decoy would work dog after dog but didn't always have someone to work his dogs.

Schutzhund/bitebar sleeve work IMO takes more upper body strength than the average female has, that is why you don't see more gals sleeving up....While I do have above average upper body strength than most females...I feel more comfortable in a bitesuit, I think because a suit is more about core strength than upper body strength.

Regardless...I could certainly use more practice and work in both areas and am pretty darn far from trying out for the nationals, but can read a dog well and can do better than some guy's Ive seen.

...yes I have video, but would rather poke myself in the eye with a sharp object than post it here for the vultures! :-)

Do not poke yourself in the eye but post the video for us Guys and Girls to see. I will not be saying anything negative if you have been doing it with supervision to start with then you must be okay. It is when a Person puts on the suit without supervision of a good Helper then they do not have a clue of what they are doing and should not do it.
I bet not many of the Guys talking on here have passed offical exams verbal and practical in the Helper work
Judron'  i think is one such Guy who has

I have been certified for quite some time...I also do suit work...hidden sleeves...for police dogs. When it comes to working dogs...doing is learning!

Judron
I thought you were but that word 'certified' although correct sounds a bit ominouslaugh
At my age i do not think it appripriate to try, although i did put on the sleeve a year or so ago, but far to old for that game,
