so what if he doesn't like other dogs. if one runs a boarding kennel, they are going to run across many dogs who do not like other dogs.

Exactly!

Where do people read and what proof that Dogs which have had there bits removed do not make good Sch prospects and that it may change there temperament or Character, that is a real load of rubbish.
I know three such dogs over here working at top level nothing has changed the only thing i can think of which may change is that it is possible that once they finish working they may put on a few pounds in weight if not watched But that does not apply now
If i lived over there i would take the Dog in a heartbeat and give him a good home and he would still do the work he loves two to three times a week, But i do not.
There must be one of you Guys over there who has room to house him and remember the Dog can still do the work it was trained for so the new owner will get tons of enjoyment as well as giving a good Dog a home

It makes a huge difference as to the AGE they get their bits removed.

If I get this place, I will have plenty of room for rescues/fosters, as well as my own beloved dogs. It's PERFECT, and its coming up for rent.  I am almost afraid to hope.

You guys should see some of the dogs that's listed http://www.sheprescue.org/Available%20Dogs.html

I wonder which breeding program this dog came from? http://www.sheprescue.org/Baja%20von%20Boondock.html looks like a very pretty looking show bitch. Too bad that she got tossed into a rescue.

Or how about this beautiful show dog? http://www.sheprescue.org/Baltoa%20von%20Berlin.html

or this http://www.sheprescue.org/Augustus%20von%20Augsburg.html

This dog has a pending adoption status but wow! Never would imgination that a handsome show dog would be in a resue.

I am pretty certain that at one time or another these dogs were in high kill shelters. Just recently (not sure if it was Duke) but they recently rescued a German shepherd that was in a high kill shelter in Lansaster.
