Hello Everyone, Nobody is getting my point. I have never supported the hideous act of Chinese officials. Killing 50000 dogs is certainly extreme step.I have never and will never support the way the dogs are killed in China. Please I am not supporting chinese authorities for sure. I am just supporting or explaining that to control stray dog population they should be caught and killed in humane way. Because no birth control operations are working. Let me tell all of you I am fully vegeterian and I dont like to kill animals just to eat. For the people living in jungle they have no choice. As far as eating dogs is concerned let me tell you western world may find eating disgusting because of their mindset. I feel eating non-veg is disgusting. How can one raise a cute looking chicken or cute looking calf, feed it and then one fine day kill it to eat it. Tell me all of you is it not cruel? Just because your mindset has accepted that Chickens and cows are for eating does not mean it is not cruel or hideous. I find it equally hideous and cruel. As far as treating animals cruelly yes chinese are at the forefront, but dont underestimate western world they are equally good at it. We all see that on TV when SPCA catches people in USA who treat their dogs or pets cruelly. Mind all of you western world is the biggest market for all the skins and other wildlife trade. So in a way they are also responsible for this cruelty. Blitzen are you non-vegeterian if yes then dont send me the video you yourself go to slaughter house and check if the cows who are being cut are happy when getting cut, are fishes caught in nets happy so cruelty is everywhere.

Do you honestly believe with the years of Humane rights violations and the dictatorship the people live under in China that they are going to set up a Rabies clinic/Doggy bath any time soon. I don't think so. I can guarentee that this will not be the last time we here about something as Barbaric as this happening in China again.

I for one will not be buying anything which was manufactured or grown in China for the forseeable future. If that means we go without so be it. I have held them in low estime ever since they invaded Tibet, the recent fur outrages simply confirmed my loathing and now this, I am married to a budhist, and practice Chi Gong that I will continue, as will my friendships with Chinese people, my contempt is and always has been for the Chinese government not its people. As the Chinese government is now firmly chasing the dollar I think this is how I can hurt them the most. C

Aren't the Chinese the ones that limit number of babies in the families, I think they kill the baby once is born if is a girl, I know they used to do it. I'm sure there is people in China that loves their dogs but their neighbors will not hesitate to eat their dog if found in their backyard, in other words, you sell your dog to China you better hope the kennels where is going is a fortress or your dog will be skinned alive and eaten. As for natives of the amazon etc....well, they don't claim to be a "blooming economy civilized Nation," these people in the Amazon, Africa are TRIBES, natives, and you will notice how they care for their pets, dogs, monkeys etc....they rather eat insects before their loving companions. Even in Africa tribes have Basenjis running around as their loving, hunting companion/partner. NOW I AGREE WITH: Let's start a petition folks......I say there are WAY TOO MANY people in China, and they spread diseases like , so let's go club, say, about 50,000 of them to death. :)

Ok, 1.I don't feel dogs compare to other animals in that sense. I grew up on a farm, and I never sat down upset and had a chicken come lick my hand. My dog did. 2. With that being said, I do care for ALL animals. It's people, that I hate. I believe if an animal is being slaughtered for food, it should be done as humanely as possible, and only for necessity. 3. I don't even know how to respond to the whole railroad/indians/buffalo/slave/oil rant. But for starters, I never built a railroad. I've never shot a buffalo. I never marched an Indian to a reservation. No one of slave desent bears my last name because guess what? Never owned one. I must admit, I did put oil in my lawnmower once. And I paid $76 a barrel for it so some Sheik could train and arm people to blow up my buildings. And as far as genocide in Africa, when I turned on my TV and saw the corpses of American servicemen, who were there to help restore peace and provide food, being drug naked through crowds of people and beaten with sticks in Somalia, I decided I could care less. 4. I do love dogs and feel they share a special status with the human population aside from all others. It sickens me to think of how they are treated over there. I'm also saddened when a "fellow dog lover" on a website I visit defends someone's right to eat dogs as long as it's done humanely. DOGS are not FOOD. Period! I don't say "well, some idiot in a jungle eats everything so it must be okay." I don't live in a jungle. This thread wasn't about oil or any other argument people wanna start. It's about a bunch of sick idiots who eat dogs, indiscriminately clubbing to death man's best friend .
