Hexe,  Are you a glutton for punishment ? Why don't you leave well enough alone. I'm fully aware that Kraftwerk breeds and sells w/l puppies and dogs, are you. I'm posting a little segment of one of your  posts on the subject of Kraftwerk and Fleisherheim .I also know that Kraftwerk and Fleisherheim fall under the business category that I mentioned earlier. Remember my little slur. I said they don't exist to make money. I'm also sure the posts on here about Kraftwerk have more then likely discouraged some people from purchasing a dog from Wayne. I'm also pretty sure this thread has done the same for some s/l breeders, at the very least it will make anyone reading it a little more carefull who they deal with especially if it's sight unseen.
          I'll give you the benefit of the doubt about your knowledge about Kraftwerk, but you really should be more carefull about what you imply. So here it is in your own words , Actually I'll admit I knew what you meant to say,but it's not what you said.Why don't you just quit with the pethome stuff and we'll call it a day.Pet homes deserve the same quality of 3000.00 dog as anyone don't you think.

This nothing more than a great example of "breeder greed". This dog isnt even companion quality as I expect my "companion" to be able to keep up with me. So much for a hike in the mounatins. Wtf.... maybe he should charge $5000 for her & throw in one of those doggie wheelchairs.

I'm just curious as to what the buyer actually told Henkel she wanted the dog for?  No where on here (unless I missed it), does she say that told John she was buying the dog as a breeding prospect.  I've known many instances where a buyer would tell the breeder that they wanted a companion dog with the goal of getting a lower price, and then intend to breed it later.  If this dog were sold as a companion dog and not as a breeding prospect I think that changes the whole outlook.  $3,000 is pretty low price for a good breeding female.  And if she went back to Henkel and said that she wanted a breeding female, that would explain why he told her it would be $2,000 additional.  Maybe this isn't the case at all, but I don't think we have all the facts.  And to those who are going to jump in and say that $3,000 is too much for a companion, that's really between the buyer & seller.  I wouldn't pay that for a pet but I know many people who have (wish I had that kind of money).  The real issue is whether the buyer was honest in explaining her goals to the breeder.

danbee... it was not sold as a breeding female. It was sold as "breed quality" female. Do you know the difference? She is only a 1yr old dog. A true breeding female will be titled to a schH 1, koered and hips & elbows evaluated and at least 2yrs old. Basically what you have here is a 1yr old puppy that is suppose to "MATURE" to a breed quality female. The retrieve over the hurdle alone required for a schH 1 makes this a deal breaker.

My opinion was immediately that this dog has a spinal injury, so, I fully concur with your post.
Has Natalee been x-rayed?

My opinion/advice on the rest of this is that:
-Henkel/von Wilhendorf should refund Iron Horse $3000. John, there is no "vindication" for you.
You are wrong for sending her a dog in that condition and I hope the WDA, AKC, local authorities, etc. look in to this if the dog is in fact injured. Your ethics SUCK!!!
You should have already refunded her money. $3000 to you, with the hundreds of puppies you pump out at $4000+/pup, is a drop in the bucket. If you had handled this the right way none of this would have been an issue.
-Iron Horse, If you want help finding Natalee a good home, get the dog to Jenni. In spite of her nastiness, I know for a fact that she will do right by the dog and find it a good home.
