Hmmmm complaints about the same kennel once again.

by spook101 on 05 August 2006 - 16:08

I think I see what's going on. I'm not sure if it's jealousy or just plain nastiness. Since none of us were there we don't know what was really said, but I find it peculiar that you are willing to try to impune someones reputation without hearing their side. Diana has a lot of flaws in her story. I still haven't heard from anyone who would give a cat free guarentee. It appears this place has been in business for at least 20 years. They probably have a pretty good handle on customer service. Are you upset about the prices he's able to get for his animals? I'm in the processing of buying a top of the line working pup for $2500. That's the buyers business. Is that a reason to slam the seller? Only if you're jealous and petty. He has a fancy website! Is that a reason to slam him? Again, only if you're jealous or petty. The reason the guy is doing well might be because he runs a heck of a business. Janette all of a sudden has bought two pups, but "is not going to get into the details." If the first one wasn't a good experience why would you buy another? And finally, who of you would just drop a new dog into this situation without being in control. That would be unconscienable for any of us to do. If she asked about compatibility than she understood the possibilities and to not have complete control means she was at least an accessory in the death of her cat. I know she feels guilty, but it seems like she's trying to clean her conscience buy going after the seller.

I dont believe in going after the breeder. I know that when you put two dogs together genetically anything is possible.I am not jealous of him or his dogs. He has very fine dogs.Good for him. Too bad he doesnt keep any for very long! I believe he should stand behind what he sells though. When you pay big bucks for a pup/dog you should be santisfied. As far as his website...smoke and mirrors. I bought both pups at the same time from 2 different breedings.Made it clear that I intended to use them for breeding. The first one arrived with an umbilical hernia.I call immediatly and was told by the current "kennel manager" at that time he knew it was there but that it was a small one. I then talk to Wayne and to make a long story short he paid to have it repaired. By they way... she has friendly ears that are seated very low on the sides of her head that she looks ridiculous. s.The sencond pup arrived 3 weeks later and at least didnt have a hernia. At 7 monthes old was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in both hips. I had her destroyed and replaced by another pup who turned out to have extremely loose hips and now has inter digital cysts.So....what can I say.3 years of my time and both Kraftwerk dogs bombed out. But thats the way it goes sometimes. He did offer me(if I want to return the dog with loose hips) a adult bitch that has already been hip checked. But I think not.

large scale kennels, little individual attention; that's what it sounds like; that's what you get... dogs bred to just make money...

Not defending Kraftwerk or Wayne Curry as I don't know him personally. But couple years ago my frind bought a pup from him. I don't know what happened with the dog (medical)?, But he replaced the dog a soon as she called him. The replacement dog was not the dog she wanted. A personal preference. She called Wayne and he replaced THAT pup. So whether you payed $1500 or $18,000 as some people down here in Bel Air pay, it doesn't matter, it's how you handle your business. Go to the source and solve your problem .. period. But, Diana7788 to keep brining up how bad Kraftwerk is, is not going to fix anything. o deal with Wayne personally. Bottom line EVERTIME someone gets in trouble or has a bad dealing with breeder/broker-car salesman it's ALWAYS because they did not do their homework, researching the kennel, asking for references, Knowing What they are buying, etc. Little less compulsive buying and a little more resaerch can go along way. <<>> That's nothing. I have tested many dogs for people that purchased a so called protection dog that they pruchased from dog businesses in L.A., paying as much as $15,000-$85,000 and when I work the dog, as soon as you slip the sleeve and attack it with a hidden sleeve on, they stand there dumbfounded LOL. I love it because the owners get a real dose of reality and then get pissed off realizing how much they spent for nothing. In One case a SchH1 female was bought in Germany for $2,500. and sold to a person here in Brentwood as a personal protection dog for $18,000. Dog wouldn't even bite a puppy sleeve, Now that's funny. So again.... gotta do your research, people need to educate themselves.

Diana- I feel bad for your loss of the cat But. I can tell you that continued posting against the kennel is actually just makeing you look bad. If you had new news about the situation than that would be appropriate but in continueing you will probably turn more people to the side of the kennel then to yours and the weight of your warning will become less each time. I do not know you or the kennel this is just my observation. I do believe in truth of advertiseing. If someone advertises the dog as getting along well with children and cats it better. Otherwise don't. For those who say you can't guarantee these things you can if you really know the dogs. I could guarantee my one female would get along well with cats and children and other dogs. I know this as she has been at other peoples houses with dogs, cats kids no problems. i can also guarantee that two of my other females would kill a cat on the spot if given a chance. So you can, as a matter fact the female who does great with cats came from Germany with the statement gets along with cats, children and other animals. Truth in advertising. I buy dogs on a regular basis from germany and the dogs have always been as promissed. So know who you are dealing with.

Spook101 you seemed a bit "spooked" by the facts. We can, of course, safely assume that you are not biased, prejudiced, closed-minded, or slow on the uptake?!

by Diana7788 on 06 August 2006 - 20:08

VHDOOSEk9 I have every right to my story about Kraftwerk. from what i have been hearing since May, there are a lot of other stories out there as bad as mine. ...and...my attorney is dealing with him...

by spook101 on 07 August 2006 - 00:08

You are correct. I don't have a dog in this fight. I can however point out at least 3 big errors that you made and yet you seem to find yourself guilt free in the death of your cat. When my kids were little and irresponsible they too looked to blame everyone else for there misfortunes. Fortunately they have grown up.
