Do you people just like to continue arguing for the sake of arguing? I already apologized and said the $3000 was a joke. Of course, of all the people here claiming how much they love and care for animals, not a single one of you has a heart big enough to accept an apology for making a dumb joke. And you say I am the one with no heart? I paid $1500 for Dana plus $300 for shipping plus $50 for the crate. Do the math. Oops, that's actually $1850. Now I'm a liar on top of everything else because I forgot about the $50 I paid for the crate when I said I would be losing $1800. Or is the crate and shipping not suppose to be included in the expenses of buying a dog? I've only owned 5 German Shepherds in the last 30 years so I'm not exactly an expert at knowing what's included and not included in the expense of buying a dog. And poor Dana, who I am being so mean to I force her to sleep in my bed every night, is the first dog I ever had shipped. If making a dumb joke is unforgivable, so be it.

You wrote: "To the others who have been contacting Dana's breeder, if you are so concerned about her, why don't you buy her?" Since I'll freely admit that I made an effort to get word of Dana's predicament to her breeder, I can answer that question for myself: I would if I could, but I am presently at *my* limit as far as how many animals I can keep and not be shortchanging any of them on the time I spend with them...and it wouldn't be fair to the ones already here, or to Dana, for me to adopt her at this time in her life or mine. Should something happen that changes the current situation here, I'll be in touch.

>>triodegirl, whatever your name is...<< My name is Sue Kraft. A triode is a type of tube used in audio gear. One of the guys at the magazine gave me the nickname "Triodegirl" when I started getting into the OTL amps that use triode tubes. Probably more than any of you wanted to know, but that's how triodegirl came about.

"To the others who have been contacting Dana's breeder, if you are so concerned about her, why don't you buy her?" I wish I can buy Dana but I cannot afford to spend 3000 dollars on a pet. Besides if I ever wanted a pet I would go to a local humane society or a Rescue Org and get my self a pet there... not a breeder... I no longer support breeders who sells dogs for pet quality... It tells me something about the kind of dogs that their breeding and I don't want no part of it.

>>I wish I can buy Dana but I cannot afford to spend 3000 dollars on a pet.<< I'm not asking $3000 for Dana. And I'm not a crook. Can I ask what area of the country you live in? Perhaps something can be worked out if you are serious about her.

I don't think Zambi would like it if I brought another female into the house.

>>I don't think Zambi would like it if I brought another female into the house.<< No problem, Brittany. I didn't really think you were sincere when you said you wished you could buy Dana but couldn't afford her. Thanks for the laugh, though.
