I have to say VomRamhausen in SC were I bought my two working dogs from. They have been there all the way sharing information I needed when it came to training and breeding. Very honest and real people. Papers came with the dogs. Other kennels I would agree with is EuroSport- Tonnya is great to deal with even though I did not buy from (sire of my female) she is there with the answers to my questions. Great lady. Van Den Heuvel K-9- Dari is a walking book when it come to dogs and highly referr her. (My sire grand parents are from her kennel) She is great! Leerburg. Have seen dogs from his breeding WOW can not go wrong there. and Hans in AZ Alpine kennels I think talked with him a lot on breeeding and gentics kinda hard to understand but knows his stuff used to work* with Dari and deals with JINOPO.CZ. kinda like a ring All have been with the bred for many many years and a wealth of information. Kinda high on price but you get want you pay for. I like this thread!!!!!!!!!

Hello EDD in afghan that is nice thread started by you. It is really important to know that there are good honest people whom we can deal with. This is a good way to appreciate their honesty and let other prospective buyers know whom to contact. Honesty has become a rear thing these days. Otherwise the general impression is that once you buy a dog you are screwd. I have not yet bought a dog from Germany but from the correspondence I had with some of the people I can say Sonja Markowski and Dagmar with roten feld are really nice & honest people. Also Julie of Astana kennel from UK I found very helpful in terms of sharing knowledge. Thanks everyone for their comments.

I recommend Chip Weiss from Cimmerain German Shepherds (Michigan). He has been honest, and catered to my every desire for a Shepherd to fit ME! He never seemed to be "Just trying to make a sale" and is GREAT at answering the many questions I had. He breeds strictly working dogs, and seems very knowledgable about the lines, the abilities, the potential, and the expected faults and traits. EDD, this is a great subject, as I HIGHLY agree with you, there are too many people bashing kennels on this site, what you have started is a great idea, and I hope it continues.

Thanks everyone for your contributions, It is very refreshing to hear from people who got what they wanted and are happy. Hopefully it will keep going and if not the next time someone asks about kennels they can trust we can refer them to this thread.

Hauswalderbach in Germany. www.hauswalder-bach.de Got my Kevin Murrtal's daughter from this kennel. Reasonable price, no nonsense. The breeder primarily breeds from Ina Jahnhohe (V3 in 1997), sister to Idol Jahnhohe. The breeder also breeds from Rica Holtkamper See (sister to Raica Holtkamper See, SG9 in 2003) a bitch from a litter that I like both in structure and maternal bloodline. Rica is half sister (same mother) to Zadana Holtkamper See (VA9 in 2005) I believed the breeder aims to produce medium size dog with compact structure. If this is what you like, it is worth taking a look. My puppies from Kevin Murrtal's daughter is medium size, compact and possessed good drive.

Zwinger vom Kirschenal www.kirschental.de Previously posted about them here: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/49695.html#49826 I can only add that Marion Fuller remains very quick to respond in detail to any questions I might have, and that the SV pedigree arrived without any problems. Orbis continues to thrive and develop very well. I'd do business with them again in a heartbeat and probably will again someday. Their reputation for efficiency and honesty is well-deserved. Also the place where my late Otto came from, Wynthea Kennels - Wynn Strickland also was very easy to deal with, although I am not sure whether she is still actively breeding these days.

I bought a male GSD, SchH II who is a perfect dog!! :) Meets all my requirements. I bought him from Rosie Westerman at International K9 Academy. Furthermore, after the dog arrived from Germany, Rosie was at my house and calling each day to make sure all was ok. She was great.

Cindy Graffam of Gieske Working Dogs of Colorado We have 3 dogs in our training outfit that came from her kennel, and none of them are 'foo-foo' poodles. They are all are very energetic, bite like Aligators, and are unbelievable in their focus while in OB. She's fair priced, knowledgable, and a great gal to do business with.

I would have to add that Marion Fuller of the vom Kirschental is a joy to deal with. No problems with paperwork, the dogs that I bought from her are just what she said they were. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.
