1 feisty male(black), 3 females gsdlvr2, thank you so much for all your support. If i knew who you were, I'd have to hug your neck..Of course, I'm southern and thats what we do. God Bless You for your support.

Sounds like you have everything under control as much as possible. Its gonna be a long 3-4 weeks for you... As long as they're suckling, and kept warm enough, they have a darned good chance!

Everything is going great. Syd is the best mom. I can definitely look back and see my error. The four pups are doing well as is Syd. gsdlvr2, when I have a minute, I'll email you. Thanx again

Are you only bottle feeding them or allowing them to nurse on mom?

ColeHausGSD

They nurse exclusively during the day and I supplement 2x at nite. They start nursing around 7am and I let them nurse pretty much all day and the last feeding from mom is around 11pm. They are really thriving and gaining weight so I'm very pleased. They go about 3-4 hours at nite between bottle feeding. Should I be waking them up every 2 hours or going by their actions(rooting, squeaking)?

Every 3-4 hours is good. I've found that if I wake them up and try to feed every 2 hours in the beginning, they don't nurse very long and go back to sleep :)
