Good point, Jenni.

Allan:  no skin off my nose if you do that.

Joanro:  sorry 'bout that;  but you & I agree on very little of
anything on here;  so, I wouldn't presume to take a
side in this particular fight.  [I think he / they think
we know & support each other, they really couldn't
be more wrong.]  Apologies if I am 'hijacking' in any way.
Linda.

Okaaaaay...but you're still patently wrong.

Polygenic doesn't mean some will be lame and some will be unaffected. Polygenic simply means affected by more than two, or many genes, ie, very very difficult genes to locate and eliminate, hence the ongoing cases of occasional dysplasia amongst breeders who have done everything in their power (environmental influences notwithstanding). You came on here with a viciousness seldom seen and your pretense is completely false. Before bashing people, make sure you understand the subject matter.

Allenf, I realize this is waste of my time to explain to you, but the two dogs I rescued with ED were not without clinical signs. But they were not screaming their heads off....quite the contrary, they ran and played and never cowered down, avoiding contact with humans.

So Joanro, now you are saying that the 2 dogs with ED were rescue dogs...
U never mentioned on u'r website that you have a Shelter as well...

I'm going home now, will check-in tomorrow...

Allen and Melanie, Keep it real my buddies...

It is the degree of severity that determines whether the disease is passed on to the offspring,

allan, above is your quote copied and pasted from your post and what I do not agree with. It is not the quote from the study, just your spin on it. Maybe it is you who should be contacting the BOV.

by joanro on 20 November 2012 - 16:11

As I thought, a waste of my time..aadilah, you seem not to have the capacity to stick to facts.

by joanro on 20 November 2012 - 16:11

BTW, one does not have to "have a shelter" to take in dogs in need of a home.

Looks like aadilah past the wand to the other personality, allenf. Three faces of Eve comes to mind.
