My older female would bite. She has done so before, when strangers entered the house, and when a few drunks approached my teenaged daughter and one grabbed her arm. She goes for the chest or upper arm. When she was younger, she could reach the throat. But I don't know if she would fight, I think not. Fighting is very different from biting. My 3 yo male would certainly bark, and would probably bite, but has never beed tested. He defended my mother from a stranger once, but did not bite (thankfully, as it was not needed).

Well after this thread giving me a brainy idea, I decided to set it up. Beings I'm my own decoy all the time, I took Sara shot gun with me one night to the bar, paid someone there to follow me to Wal-Mart and see what she'll do. He parked on the left side of the supercenter and I parked on the right side. It was raining pretty good. I went into Wal-Mart.. bought a pillow and when out with the cart to the truck. Got to the truck... opened the door, greeted her and told her to stay, I left the door open and went to the back of the bed and fiddled around till dude showed up. Dude put on one crazy act walking to me.. she was definately aware to keep eyes on him. I think at first she was scared and that's the reason she just stayed in the truck... but dude grabbed me from behind in a bear hug struggle and the second time I called her out.. she just flew out the truck door and right in front of me and stared at dudes arm closer and closer till she grabbed hold and from there she stopped on the first call off and was the happiest Sara I ever did see. Dude didn't wear equiptment and was rubbing Sara's belly in the bed of the truck before he left. We'll have to plan a sneak decoy in the near future. :o)~ Great idea guys, thanks.
