Mindunt,
I saw the ad and video of that "very dark" Malinois being worked in bite work.  The dog was not all that, the aggression was average, drive was ok, and the bite was so so.  The training left a lot to be desired.  Again, nothing to brag about or promote for breeding.  There are much better Malinois out there for breeding, especially if you want hardness, drive and aggression.

Slamdunc, I was watching one of the other dogs, not too bad but not what I would be happy with, I'm used to dogs biting all the way to their back teeth and hitting hard, but then I am super picky on both trainer and training.  I just always wonder when someone says "aggressive" or "extra hard" or "super drive", any of those "wow" type adjectives.  If your dog is good, then say so in simple terms, the dog should "wow" on it's own.  My friend always said she had good dogs and let the dogs' performance do the wowing.  As for "melon-heads", I think I'll stick to my GSDs, maybe some day an nice Caucasian Mountain Dog or two, mali's are not for me lol.

I would take a Malinois over a Caucasion Mountain dog any day.  Wink Smile  Caucasion Mtn Dogs are nice for guarding a flock or farm animals when left alone.  A buddy has a couple to guard his livestock and those dogs are left all alone for several days with the livestock.  I have no need for that type of dog.  A GSD, DS or Mali are what I like.  If you like them then you have my full support and respect.

Slamdunc, my favorite is still the GSD working line (although lately some of the working lines I have seen are getting that butt dragging look I dislike).  I just like the CMD as something different someday (not that I could afford one, they are expensive!!!), right now I barely have room for my 2 and finishing up my doctoral is taking time that I would rather use for training and playing with my dogs.  I will never be without a couple GSDs and I pray that I will always be able to care for my dogs.  I can't imagine living without them and hope I will never have to find out.  Mine are 11 and 8, I will be looking for a new pup in a year or two, that is if mine will tolerate one, lol.

Well, I am a real person.  I purchased a great young dog from the Miami Dade County K9 Services (not to be confused with the other company with a similar name), and she's fabulous!

I really don't understand why there are people out here that have nothing better to do than harass a business.  After I found the dog I wanted, I contacted them, had many conversations with them, and they represented the dog exactly as I have found her to be.  So if they use words that someone can't understand, then maybe those people should ask questions.  Since each of us have different definitions of what we think a "good bite" is, it's good to have in depth conversations about that animal and know what you want and how to handle it once you get it.  These people know their dogs and they're more than willing to help.   I don't know why anyone would criticize this.  IMO, not enough small businesses do this anymore.

jduskin -  Hi newbie, if you really are a real person, welcome to the
bearpit  I mean board !    When ANY poster comes on here, with a
self-promotional video clip that has no accompanying explanation
and shows something unusual that most members disapprove of
(I'll get back to that in a minute),  ESPECIALLY if that poster is an
advertiser using the PDB Classifieds, and posting somewhat question-
able ads for dogs for sale, they expose themselves to comment and
criticism.  That is just the way it is;  this is a pretty friendly place but
it is hard on BS.  It is also a place where the majority of regular members
care passionately about their dogs, and whichever sports / activities they
are involved in with them, so they would be reactive to that video, which
- if it is supposed to advertise MiamiDadeCountyK9Services '  dogs as
good specimens with great training and hard bites - signally failed to
convince us all that we were looking at the 'wow' dogs we were promised.

The OP did, after all, put up the vid unasked and start the thred off.  They
only offered any accompanying info after ppl had commented on how bad
they thought it was !  [And then, their explanation was ridiculous and detrimental
to the dogs and hundsport !]

The fact that they get a couple of brand new usernames  (including, it seems,
exploiting one who may be a minor !) to sign up and post what a wonderful
service they got from this dog-dealer does 'not a lot' to convince us of how
genuine they are.  The fact that as soon as the video got some criticisms they
exploded back onto here calling everyone else ignorant and other names
(including 'communist',  which I don't mind but I know a lot of my fellow posters
do !) did them no good at all.  The fact that no one seems to have heard of them
until one person complained about the state of the dog SHE bought from them
(see the Ripoff Report) - with or without 'County' in their name - also does not
convince the very experienced, committed, and skilled, ppl here that this company
is one to recommend.

NOW do you "understand" this thred ?

That was nice of k-9 to send me a link back and let me know this new person had posted.  Hahahhahh

Of course what is really interesting to me is the fact that you have been the same business with the same name for 30 years yet you have only had a license since September of 2012.

So what is the truth?  You have been around for less than a year or you have been running an unlicensed business for 29 years?
