21 month old bitch - Page 1

Just a continuation of the 14 month old bitch thread, which is now too old to comment on :)

To rehash, my girl, Mana's 5 Cents for Advice Marcato TC "Wesson", has 7 points towards her AKC championship with one major, all owner handled.  She is trained, conditioned, and shown by me exclusively.  The one exception is going to be when she goes to the national this year.  She will be handled by a friend of mine.  Wesson will be handled by someone else not due to politics, but because I have concerns about being able to make it around such a big ring with my neuro issues.  I can hide my dragging feet pretty well in the all breed ring, and some of the specialty rings, but it just will not happen in that giant ring (asthma doesn't help, either).

It'll be hard to just stand outside the ring and watch, as I do so love to show, but it should make Wes look a bit better.  We'll see.



As you can see above, she has her best bitch face going.  She was not happy with pictures so early in the morning, and is now sacked out on my couch, abused dog that she is :p  She's also sending ALL my plans into ruination, as she is blowing her coat right before the two biggest shows of the year (Canfield, OH, and the national).

Sometimes it really seems like they do this on purpose :p

I loved this bitch when you first posted pictures of her.  I like her even more now. She is going to finish easily for you. OH AND CONGRATS on the owner handler part.

It has progeny listed for this 21 month old bitch here on the database, is this accurate?  I feel perhaps this is an error as she does not look like she had just weaned a litter, though to me she is lacking muscle and substance in body she does not have the fresh weaned tummy look. She is also only 21 months old and with no hip or elbow score posted so maybe this is an error? It has the litter listed also on the sire's page. She has not been bred yet.  The litter will be bred next year.  People kept asking about the pedigree, and I didn't want to have to keep doing the mating check.  I prenamed the puppy I will be keeping (it is the Bob Seger litter).

Wesson's x rays are already scheduled for a week after the national, and she will not be bred before then.
