This entire thread IMO exemplifies the true meaning of Christmas.

The smile on Jackie's face is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The PDB members that got involved to help a fellow member restores my belief in the goodness of my fellow human beings.

God Bless Jenni for starting this; many of us, including myself, would have never known this situation without her involvement.

Merry Christmas Jackie...and for what it's worth I think your dogs are gorgeous.

I was grateful for well wishes & positive energy....this is just beyond anything I ever thought possible....thank you so very much!

ML, I agree with 9/10 of your post. However, all I did was start the donation thread, knowing I was not the only one who wanted to help. The "A Little Fable" thread was the catalyst- many knew of Jackie's situation and would have likely done something anyway, whether I started that thread or not. As it stands, there were 3 (that I know of) people who did something privately. Thank YOU for your generosity w/Petflow. Merry Christmas to all!

Don't worry Jenni78 we will keep score for you.

We have a few days before we start a new year to reflect and see if there was anything we would do differently.

All of us will have a chance to decide how we wish to be perceived for the next year.

I hope most wish to be thought of as Kind Honest Teachers
