MODS, (and everyone else) perhaps I was stupid in my title- do you think people who aren't familiar with what's going on will even read the thread, or will they just think it's TO Jackie and not click on it?

Should I have put "Please help our friend Jackie (Kalibeck)" or something similar??? What do you guys think? Should we change the title?

Also, I was thinking of ending this at Midnight, CST on Dec. 16th so I can get the cards and send them on the 17th so she's got most of a week before Christmas to use them. Thoughts?

Yes if you can change the title I wouldn't close it but would send what you have on the 16th. Then if there are any late contributions she will still get them. We don't know how long or how much she may need so why close it. When interest stops then that will take care of the closing part.

Yes, poorly worded. I didn't mean "close" as in not accept. I should've said shoot for everyone to have theirs in by the 16th so I can send it the 17th, but of course with people's different pay schedules and financial situations, of course late contributions would be welcome and sent at a later date.

Status update- 9 people have donated that I know of- there may be more who called Petflow directly. I don't want to post too much because I'd like to SOMEWHAT surprise Jackie.
