A "Lil' Bit" of Help for our Friend Jackie (Kalibeck), Please? - Page 4

I've gotten several emails asking what's wrong with Jackie- people don't want to ask publicly, but they're concerned. Apparently, many DON'T know what's going on. I know, myself, I didn't read "A Little Fable" until it was probably halfway through- it didn't seem to be about dogs, so I skipped it. There's a very good chance others are like me, as well, and simply skip over things that don't appear to be directly dog-related, and that certainly doesn't mean they don't care or don't want to help. The messages from active members asking what happened to Jackie were an eye-opener. 

So, perhaps something like "Please, Let's Help our Friend Jackie (Kalibeck)" or "A Lil' Bit of Help for our Friend Jackie (Kalibeck), Please?"  since her dog's name is Lil' Bit...or if someone has a better idea, go for it... 

Jenni, I changed it to your second suggestion, but can change it again if needed.

I like the title and I think making a closing date is a good idea so it gives everyone a date to strive to get their donations in by,,Not to say you wont be happy to take others after the date, but at least Jackie will have an idea of what she has to work with ,,,JMO..

I am half hoping (sounds bad, I know) that Jackie doesn't see this for another day or two because she's going in tomorrow to have that damned lymphocele drained. I hate that she's going through that, but if it buys us a bit more time before she's really "onto us" that's not a bad thing. I'm really hoping to surprise her a little bit. I don't think she realizes how many friends she has.

Jyl: I pulled this from the Fable thread.  Jackie said this "As far as dog food goes, we've been feeding Canidea all life stages for a couple years, I mix it will Merrick Bison when I can to add a little oomph to it."  Hopefully I'm not misinterpreting it.
