This is a wonderful thing to do for Jackie. Kudos to Jenni for getting it under way and to everyone who has been so generous. Happy holidays!

Sweet of you to say, but like I said before, Jackie's ultimately responsible. She inspires people to do nice things just by being Jackie.  I just started the thread. It was a great distraction from the computer work I should be doing! ;-)

It's gone very quiet. What would you all think (honestly) about me sending what I have (I'm going to add a little more to it to make it a nice, round number) this weekend, a few days earlier than planned to give Jackie a little more time since she's not been feeling well w/the lymphocele? My thinking is the sooner she knows for sure what she has to work with, the sooner she'll get a bit of stress relief and decide how much needs to go where. Of course, anyone late to the thread is welcome to donate and I'll buy another card and send it, but we don't get much action here on weekends, anyway. 

Honest thoughts...should I go ahead and send a Visa gift card with what we have now? Or should we wait the weekend out? I got one yesterday and that's been it for a few days. Everyone jumped in immediately (good!). 

I'd say wait until Monday morning, and then go ahead and send what's on hand at that time. Like you said, it will lift some of the stress from her shoulders and I think she's going to be astounded. 
And I suspect that there will be folks who will be repeaters whenever they possibly can, and others who will be contributing as soon as they know they have their own stuff straight. 

Hexe, Monday a.m. IS a little bit early...I was going to wait out Monday, but I think I'll go ahead and send whatever I have Monday a.m.
