There are many, many WL x SL crosses done every year; many breeders are "going against the grain". Subscribe to the stud books, every AKC registered litter is listed there. Or pay attention to trial results and research those dogs' pedigrees. At most of the trials I've attended or seen results from there have been WL x SL crosses trialing and qualifying. the same as 100% WL/SL.

With the eight gen ped now available, most of the "working line" dogs go back to show lines that include Canto, Quando, Quanto. I'm talking about dogs that one would not suspect SL included in ped. But, the SL dogs were different then.

My Ursus line female has Palme v. Wildsteigerland 12 times. AND her maternal side is American show lines, not German!
Just imagine if she were the offspring of 2 German show line dogs from similar background!

For sure there are many other litters that are WL x SL; have been for years and will be into infinity. Every purebred GSD alive today can be tracked back to the same foundation dogs.

Just got an update from Jenni.
Due to an accident of her boyfriend she isn´t able right now to take pictures of the pups or answer posts.
