                 Thanks again for you input Please keep them coming.  I believe theirs more names that belong here or Kennels that can be mentioned again its quite alright to
repeat a great experience that someone else has had also.  its okay to verify what you believe .

 I really appreciate  the mention of some Kennels here in the USA/Canada that have things you like. Also kennels in the  Forefront of Breeding & Training better Working Line GSD's
believe it or not you  have given allot of creditability to those you have mentioned .
                                                                           once again I appreciate your comments and your ideas on the Subject.   Everyone surely will not agree on the same
          Kennels but what I'm hoping to see is several kennels getting honorable mention over and over again + a few that may not be well known, that are doing it right!
Their is nothing like a well satisfied Customer that would purchase again.   Like VKGSD said, " I would definitely go Back"  that says allot about a breeder and is
truly helpful to someone looking for their GSD here in  North America . Theirs are so many horror stories out their and theirs the stories that  you don't Quite know whose at fault the breeder
buyer???,( I think we have one going on now on the forum).

                                                                                                 Also To Staatsmacht the criteria we are using to rate the North American Breeders is Bloodlines, Integrity,
Quality of Offspring , Reputation, Hospitality.  Not necessarily in that order but , when one thinks of the best Breeders in North America We want each participant to use
these items as a score card for the North American  Breeders they are rating ( as one of the TOP 10). It doesn't not in any way take away from any European/Asian/SouthAmerican/Korean etc.. etc...
Breeders . What we are Trying to bringing out are North American kennels that have sold Solid Working line GSD's To People here on the Pedigree Database ,
or know of persons whom are very satisfied with the Dealing/honesty/professionalism/Quality of GSD/ Bloodlines purchased. Furthermore the rating might even be from a GSD seen
 From that Particular Kennel that was a well Rounded Working GSD's and Owner had nothing but good things to say about the Kennel.

I hope I clarified what we are asking for here.

Maybe you should change the subject to "top ten experince with breeders"

and we leave the TOP TEN WORKING LINE GSD BREEDER to the statistic of trials,breed surveys,LE units report, studs, breeding females in other kennels and so on. that provides a proven raw data to support the real list.

Excluding Staatsmacht, who are your top ten working line breeders?

It would be intersting to see what kind of story the raw numbers might reveal.  Is there a website that has a feed for that data?

 

if you make your self some work and google some kennel names you will find.check the USCA magazines and you find some kennel names come more up than others.
it is not about my kennel, it is about good US breeders

And I recommended Spitzenhund because I did get a dog from there and I have to say, although I am not intrrested in a workingline dog for the same reason many do;
    I nonetheless wanted excellent bloodlines from that  caliber of dog, a dog that could,
, that is what I got from Parrish,
The fact that the dog won't be competing in any top level sport, is due to no fault of breeder or dog,
The quality of my Bomber girl is fantastic, the Reputation of the lines of their dogs is excellent, and the most important part was Parrish was really unbelievable with the help he gave me getting my little "cookie"., 
Above and Beyond anyone I have ever dealt with,
All that, and a bag of chips...And that is my experience

a kennel in baisden wv von dak kennels owned by Dencil Glandon he has done years of pedigree research and breeding different lines to produce some of the best working dogs around !!!!

That is what i have say before.People are happy with the dogs but that is not a proof a work quality.

I am happy for you and I respect your opinion Kitkat and davidbills, but the subject is Top ten working line breeders. compare to your named kennels for example Gabor was with his self breed dog on many big trials(WUSV) or Chiccos H litter, also real successfull on natinal level.

this is your selection of North America's best THIS  is Not subject to others ideas  or feelings on the subject Thats one of the
Things we love here in The USA we can speak our Minds & Views .

                                                 Yes , we will agree that  all will not agree but I'm not looking for disagreement , just your choice that can only come from
your!  Experience and dealing with that Kennel. Part of the Criteria is Integrity/Reputation/Hospitality and that has to do with the Kennel and Owners mainly
and doesn't show up in any magazine or Raw Numbers. PLease Staatsmacht ,  if you would like to create your own topic thats your choice to do.
But For Now We have heard your choice's and respect them. Lets not further brow beat anyone! , for speaking their mind which is what I asked for

                       In 2008 their was over 50 replys to this same subject and made for a very nice and constructive Thread. What I and others found is
some Great Kennels that few knew allot about , That had Good Creditablitly that was well deserved . I myself Have googled 2 Very Nice Kennels that I never

border with respect, your criteria are contradictory, subjective and meaningless fluff, you ask for top 10 WORKING kennels then you want people to judge from their own personal experience based on amongst other things Integrity/Reputation/Hospitality . are you going to rate the experiencer on their credentials to pass a judgement on what is a top breeder as well.

your criteria amount to a load of horse-shit. first define what a top working dog is and who gives a shit if the breeder has poor hospitality.  and reputaion for what? good paper work, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, veratile dogs, extreme maniacs that are outright dangerous to the general public....what exactly. your survey is so amateur and loosely defined as to be completely subjective and rather meaningless.

hell i will buy a dog straight off the russian mafia if they had what i wanted, put that in your top 10.

now people tell you that there dog is nice but will never be great in some kind of work and all people are happy!lets make a new breed with dogs who make people only happy.

i can tell you what happen:some nice guy wants a german shepperd,he googles top ten working line gsd breeder and find his list and is f......!!!he get his puppy start to train and suddenly he regonice that the other people at his trainers place get faster results and have more fun to train!!why???because these people have google all the great names from your list and have seen that there is nothing.google kennel names you will find what you search or you find nothing!!!!!

Working DOG=dog must work to be a working dog. top ten working dog breeder= must breed dogs that work better than all the other breeders dog.

i have a few names here from my area, Gildaf,treue haende, sable rock(have seen one at fly ball is work or),county road4.

many people are real happy with them!!!!
