@Paul

Thank you good explanation.

@Kitkat

no one is bashing a other kennel and i understand you. Paul have show the point, maybe now you understand.

I can tell you little story.

There was a small guy maybe 19years old with a black pittbull. he have try to find a club to train his dog, but not one dvg or terrier club want Pittbulls on the field.at one point
this little guy found a SV club and the people have been really happy to welcome him in that club.(he was young and able to be a helper)
After one year the little guy have notice that all people with the shepperds have get faster results than the little guy with his Pit. at one point this little stupid guy have listen to the people him around and have get a gsd puppy from a breeder close to this club. The mom was sooooo great and sooooo mean and the Dad was sooooooooo good but have never really proof that besides his own club trials in his area. so this little stupid guy bought this puppy and gave him the name "Ares", (the good of war).

all people in  the club like him so much and the dads owner liked him so much and the little guy loved him sooooo much. After 20 month training, the dog was ready for BH and IPO1(SCHH1)
we had our own trial coming up and so many people have come to train for the trail.there was also one guy coming, well known, many times BSP, and he really asked me what i want do with that (my Ares).
I was upset and give him a lot nice words because he can not know how good my dog is, only the people in my club and i know how good he was.
So i make my BH and than a few weeks later i have make SchH1, i think it was 93-90-82 with not pronounced. the little stupid guy have look now more stupid because he was crying that his dog was really not good enough for that what he was doing.

After that trial we devorsed and i get a better dog,5 month old from a good Kennel, with allready good offspring. This dog have got his IPO3 and got his breedsurvey.was he good enough for the big game.no, but good enough for good sport.
after the bad trial , a   other club have lured me over, with many good dogs, many good handlers and many aroganz. so i grow up there, worked in the week as helper 60 dogs from all over the place.i was still little and small in that sport but i learned pretty fast what means good and bad.when you start to to train on the big sport fields and suddenly you get all the good dogs from you area for training than you finaly see that there is more than nice, there are some dogs that are more than everything i have think off.

After years than this little guy have start to train with some cops and some private red light district club owners and than suddenly you see there is more than a sport and there is more than only trained behavior.than you see that dogs are able to do things you never can proof on a field.
I think in this moment the little guy have finaly get this brain light that he understand what means good for breeding.

at one point the little guy have get Orla with 8 weeks old,she was from a great producing mom with proofen success over years ,in sport and police units, this little girl was more than all my dogs before together.after titling and breedsurvey she have get puppies, she produced many good dogs on big trials and for police and militar. but still it was not the little guys success,he only have breed her to males and that was not really a challenge.the challagne was to keep the good daughters and go forward with them.and than the granddaughters.and than the little guy have make a tide linebreeding on his breed to get all this behavior stronger in his line.than you get the respect and misrespect.

So you see every one must learn, but the important thing is that you understand what means proofen success and proofen success in breeding.

To your blue gsd!! that is a nice story, i by myself have never see a blue one only in books, because the sv did not accept blue puppies, you must lay them down after birth, so i am pretty sure that some are born in germany but never have make it more than 3 days.

"...because the sv did not accept blue puppies, you must lay them down after birth,..."

I´m mostly with you, but not about this point - NOBODY is forced to cull puppies within SV, no matter the color, no matter the coat length.
There are breeders out there who still cull, but that´s there personal decision, no rule !!!

The ''little guy'' story can translate to any endevor. Who goes right to the top in the business field? Top atheletes train for years in their youth for a chance at high level competition and professionalism. What if the youngster in "STaats'' story had for his first dog [ at 19 years old] a really top work/breed specimen? What if the 19 year old got bored with the dog and/or sport and left this top animal with his parents so he could go party? I think the process is very important. What if the 19 year old had just gave up when one DVG club said '' no pbt!!                  get involved, and evolve

That´s the main difference between Europe and the rest of the world.
I, personally, do not know one breeder around here, who didn´t start with training several dogs, before he even started to THINK about breeding.

by Staatsmacht on 27 January 2014 - 18:01

that is or was the rule.the same with the amount of puppies.in the past six now 8 without a "amme".what do you do if do not have a "amme".

Just re-read through this thread and can say without a doubt we made the best choice in the kennel we chose, Spitzenhund. Parrish is such a stellar guy, top notch in class and care and determination to preserve the quality of the GSD. Never once did he say anything negative about another kennel or dog. He only spoke about his dogs and their pedigrees. We researched everything he told us for countless hrs and they were fact, not bs. In the end we have, most likely, a dog that will make his own mark in history one day if all continues to go the way it has this far. The quality of dogs Sitzenhund has in both athleticsim, mind, strength and beauty stands alone as a proof to their breeding program. They are a young kennel and time will tell so I can only speak from our personal experience and our dog. I don't see any reason attacking people personally because they gave a poster positive input about a kennel or dog they have. If someone had blue shepherds at one time or now, who cares! I am so so grateful we were led to a true professional kennel and breeder and trainer and staff and did not get sucked in by someone else's arrogance or ignorance. If I spoke to a breeder that bashed another one or a kennel we would not need to invest our money with them on that day or any other. If I read through a forum and saw the kennel we got a dog from attacking anyone, we wouldn't go back. In my opinion, it would only prove that they are to stupid to learn or grow their breeding program because they have all the answers already. So poster, I'm certain there are some very good breeders and good programs but we will attest to Spitzenhund's program and all that goes into it and the support it has behind it. Good luck in your research.

It seems every time someone makes a post about working dogs my name, my kennel and Bomber get brought up. Let me introduce myself. My name is Parrish Evans and I own SpitzenHund kennels and Bomber vom Wolfsheim. Yes I am a fairly new name in the working dog world but I am no newbie. I've owned and bred German Shepherds for 30 years. In fact my father imported our first German Shepherd from Germany in 1975 and we have had them since then but in all my life I have never criticized one single person for their dogs or breeding program. What is happening on this thread makes me sick. Some of you know me, some of you don't but I will tell you a little bit maybe you don't know. I live outside of Joplin Missouri. The town that was wiped out by the tornado. I worked for 5 straight days digging out dead friends and neighbors that I had known for my whole life. At night I would patrol the streets with a different dog trying to keep the looters out of the houses that belonged to my former water delivery customers. Me and my SAR dog Jody received a resolution from the Governor of the state when it was all over and several stories have been written about some of the things we did but when it was all over with my water customers were gone as well as my business. People kept calling me asking about puppies from Jody but she was so damaged from the search she will never be able to have puppies. She worked until her feet were just bloody stubs. I decided I raise working dogs that would be able to help the next time a tornado wiped out a town. Along the way I have had a lot of help. I didn't just do this all by myself. My dear friend Tom Trainer from Vomausland kennels has helped me in every possible way. Look him up and knock him if you like. Next is Josef Mravic from EurosportK9 most of you will also know his name. Criticize him while you are at it as two of my females were located by him. I want to thank him publicly. Next is my trainer Russ Osburn. He has been on the podium several times and won the FH2 tracking championship twice in a row with Rony. Next is Reiner Holtmann. He is the former owner of Bomber and on the board of the SV in Germany. Criticize him and you are just a fool. I currently own 9 titled females. They are the best bloodlines I could find with the help of my friends. Oh, then there is Bomber. Now some fella in Germany calls Bomber a pretty boy while calling his own stud dog serious. Well mister, I don't know your dog. I have never heard of him. You have heard of Bomber though have you not since you also want to criticize the kennel he came from. This is silly. I don't even know you but I have forwarded your comments to Reiner Holtmann asking him why you seem to hate Bomber so much. I await his reply with much interest. Now, if there is anyone else standing in line to bash my stud dog; Bomber has produced somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 titled dogs so far with more being titled every year and he is only 7 years old. All of you that have a stud dog that has produced 50 titled dogs raise your hands. No? How about 25? Still No? The real question is why would anyone knock someone else's dog? It makes no sense to me. The people that. It from me generally want a dog that at least has a chance to compete. It some just want a friend. What is the difference? Is the competition dog better than the one that just takes care of its family? I don't believe so. I don't want to make anyone feel bad here but listen. If your criticizing anyone else's dog you really need to get out of the breeding business and just go somewhere and be bitter. The day I have to run down someone else's kennel to sell my own puppies I will quit this business.

I think you missed his point.  You didn't breed bomber, nobody in the US has bred bomber.  Most do what you do.  Buy a dog from someone else that bred and titled and then import them and breed "world class litters".  It happens over and over.  Hardly any breeders here have stuck with a breeding program long enough to have even 3 generations that have done anything.  They breed some litters till those dogs wear out, then import some new ones and repeat.  If they keep their own, it seems within a generation or 2, the quality is nothing like they started with, or they have gotten some new blood from someone else.

and really, everybody likes their dogs.  I've been doing this long enough and have met people I really do like, that really love their dogs, and brag about them constantly.  Good for them, they should love their dogs.  But it's all they know.  Often times  I see a dog that isn't capable of being anything more than a loved pet.  Nothing wrong with that, unless of course you're telling how awesome and capable and great your dog is and that you absolutely love your dog and breeder and the dog less than adequate in terms of breeding characteristics.

We talk about Top ten working line breeder in north amerika!
Who talks about Bomber or your kennel.Tell me the part where i talk bad about Bomber or your kennel, was it wrong to say he is a pretty BOY.but for real if you want compare Bomber with Quardes (both over Noditha, because Agent son) you should start with him on the big trial and show the same with him what Quardes have proof allready on many trials. i can not believe that you bring titled progeny from germany as refrence. in germany every show dog is IPO3 titled with two years,so who cares.

do you feel that you belong to the top ten kennels than proof it.i think your friend  Paul have make it clear in his post.

if you belong to that than fine, i did not find any of your dogs on any list.maybe you can show me.i think it is wierd all time when someone speaks out the truth peopleget so upset and start to try to bring the reason of selling dogs in.
I think my last litter i have posted for sale was 3 years ago when i just moved to the US.

i found Kraftwerk,T Floyd,Chicco,Eichenluft and a few more.
i f you do not understand my post sorry,if you do not know my dogs sorry.

tell me the part where i critizes the Kennel Wolfsheim, i know Bomber when he was with Heiko, and i know his mom well.we will see how much success he will have in the future with Noditha kids in his program.that is wrong to say??ok you must know.

call me Fella or what ever you want, i start breeding in 2002 you 30 years ago, my kennel name is all over the net, MY DOGS easy to find.
I KNOW I HAVE ONLY A BIG MOUTH!! but i can live with that.
