For Staatsmacht - times changed even in Germany...

CURRENT SV ZUCHTORDNUNG ( for several years now...)
4.2.4.

This says you are allowed to raise as much puppies as you want - in case there are more than 8 puppies born you EITHER need to use a foster mother OR you have to wait 6 months before you are allowed to breed the dam again.

For ParrishEvans:
Nobody was going to blame anybody, but there is a difference between buying a stud and breeding good dogs - this thread was named " TOP TEN WORKING LINE GSD BREEDERS IN NORTH AMERICA " .
I was not able to find more than 8 dogs with the kennelname "Spitzenhund" on this board ( I know this board is not representative, but within 30 years I should be able to find some more ), all of them young besides one dog, all of them out of 1. generation imports.
These dogs may become outstanding dogs, and you may become one of the best breeders on earth, but time and success will tell, nothing else.

I think the title of this thread is the Top ten working line breeders....
NOT the top kennels, the criteria set forth by the OP, OF THIS PARTICULAR THREAD IS;
Bloodlines; Spitzenhund has that
INTEGRITY-Parrish has that
Quality of offspring- again, Spitzenhund (I havn't heard of anyone saying otherwise)
Reputation-Spitzenhund again
Hospitality-No denying it, Spitzenhund got it going on

These are what the OP asked about

Well said Parrish and Kitkat!

I don't think anybody talked bad about anybody's dog or anybody's kennel. I think most people have missed the point that Staatsmacht was trying to make.

Stefan Schaub. One more word out of you and I will post the comment I just received from Reiner Holtmann about you, your mouth and your kennel. You will not like it.

I have heard a lot of silly and childish things on here but this takes the cake. Parrish, what are you: eight? Get over yourself and grow up. I have actually read this whole thing and no one bashed anyone's kennel or dog; I did hear people not brag about other kennels and dogs though. Big difference.

What a shame. This could have been a good thread but now has become a "defense of Bomber" thread. Bomber may or may not be a good dog/producer.
That was never the point. If you want to be thought of as a good breeder of working dogs, then you should be producing producers, and their grandchildren.
I think that is what Stefan is saying.
Here in the US though, we seem to be interested only in producing puppies for sale, not to develop our breeding programs.

can somebody point me to the post where a dog or kennel has been bad-mouthed?

all i have seen is a defensive reaction like someone dropped a bomb...er or sumthin, and threats being made to drag up dirt on people and various immature personal crap that would suit facebook beter than here.

thanks to the guys that tried keeping things rational and evidence based, unfortunately it sailed right over some peoples heads.

I don't know how, some don't see where innuendos were thrown around about Bomber, and vk, you appear to have been satisfied "in the moment" to make a complete 180 of the purpose of the thread,"washwoman, childish bullcrap".
I don't know, but when someone Iinfers negativity on my dog(s), be they blue, or green, that sort of changes the dynamic of your mindset.
Especislly when you take pride in your dog, and your breeding program.
I believe that while Parrish did not breed Bomber, he brought hi  here, for the betterment of the breed.
At the same time, he aldo secured some Bomber prodgeny to include in his "betterment of the breed" breeding program. He is out there working his dogs, not only on the field, but in real life.
I don't know, when someone knocks my dog, " thems fighting words".
