Thanks, Bhall. I have forwarded the link to friends of a friend who are currently looking for a young GSD.

She had some dogs with some really  good bloodlines ( German SL ). I hope they don 't have to stay in a shelter while the court case winds through.  She's been in trouble for awhile but in denial, I didn't know she had this many dogs, she never allowed anyone at her place.

Never allowing anyone at her place is a good clue...

Very very sad. I looked up some of the peds and while they're not my personal area of expertise, they appear to be quality dogs. Sad that someone with that knowledge and education about the dogs could fail to see something so very simple.

This is close to where I live.  The kennel has/had some well bred WGSL dogs.  The dogs have been surrendered to the Shelter.  This is a no kill shelter.  One of the people sitting on the board is a German Shepherd Breeder who shows and trains (ASL).  News Story below.  Ages of dogs are 2 weeks to 7 years.

She really could not face reality. They didn't have the funds to support her big "dreams" of being "someone" in the world of WGSL. She would send a dog to Germany to be titled but not have enough money to take a whelping bitch in trouble to the vets, lose all the puppies and almost lose the bitch and wind up with a bigger vet bill for an emergency spay than if she had gone in the beginning. Said dog was over there awhile because she couldn't pay the final bill. Not enough money for dog food but put a deposit down on a dog trailer being made in Germany. Most everyone I know stopped dealing with her, we had no clue she had this many dogs.

Where is Chris??? Isn't he part of this? And where is Dante??? is he part of the seized dogs?

Still many questions, Chris is not mentioned anywhere and I didn't see Dante in any of the posted videos. You see someone showing seemingly well cared for dogs, how could anyone suspect the horror at home for their kennel mates. Makes you wonder, as they say-you never know what goes on behind closed doors.6

Unbelievable!
I alreday hate kennels with a lot of dogs, but this is something, I´ve never seen before.
Why do people put dogs in crates instead of at least kennels???
Are there no animal laws in your country dictating the size of a kennel ( 12,4 inch² for one dog ) ?
I´ll never get it.
